Niki Sadeki is a Canadian DJ, producer based in New York. She is a self-taught, high-spirited creative, emboldened by the ideas, minds and sounds scattered in her midst. What carries her sets has less to do with genre and more to do with isolating a mood, and building up different currents around it. Ever since the first time I saw its twinkling purple lights on the playa horizon, I’ve admired the beautiful Maxa deer and held dreams of playing on it. And this year, on the Thursday night, I had the honor of leading the deer from its camp out to deep playa where it would meet countless other animal art cars in an Animalia link-up! There was talks of a storm coming, and as I boarded the deer, it began to drizzle. I said a little prayer, the rain miraculously stopped, and she began to travel. I can honestly say there is no greater feeling than the one I felt for the two hours that followed, playing music on Maxa’s majestic deer while looking out into a crowd of some of my dearest friends smiling and dancing as more animal art cars joined the party. I remember just as I finished my last track feeling so full of joy and gratitude for everyone around me— my friends, the Maxa crew, the people who stopped for a song and stayed til the end— everyone and everything, I felt so completely thankful. And in that moment, it began to rain, the wind picked up and a massive storm rolled in, almost as if to say, “You’re welcome.”

Memum is the solo project of Berlin-based musician and producer David Georgos. Focusing on natural and organic sounds—such as piano, guitar, rhodes, glocks, voices, and field recordings—Georgos transforms and manipulates these elements to create Memum’s distinctive sound. The result is a fusion of ambient electronic textures and experimental pop songwriting.

His critically acclaimed album, “Became a Leaf,” was released on the boutique German label Unperceived Records. Drawing inspiration from his first years in Berlin and a trip to Finland, this album showcases Georgos’ refined approach to sound design, blending field recordings, time-stretched synth layers, and piano to craft compositions that explore themes of birth and decay. The album received early support from platforms like Ambient and artists such as Odesza, as well as a feature on a Café del Mar compilation.

Prior to Memum, Georgos worked under the moniker Locoto. As Locoto, he created remixes for artists such as Boozoo Bajou (K7!, R&S Records) and released his first solo album, “Awakine,” through Modernsoul/Universal Music Publishing.

The Mojito, the refreshing and minty national cocktail of Cuba, mentally transports us to a tropical location no matter where we’re sipping it. Oscar Mederos’ interpretation of is not just the preferred option for quenching our thirst after a long night on the dance floor or toasting during a summer vacation’s night out, it is also another example of the outstanding story telling skills of the Miami based DJ.

Originally from Cuba, Oscar has now been residing in Miami for the past five years. He fell in love with electronic music after attending many of the Miami underground parties and developed an exceptional taste and competence in electronic music. 

Involved with the Miami based label Magician on Duty, Oscar further developed his passion for electronic music and was part of the label’s rise to an essential source for deep and dreamy electronic music. 

Oscar is a welcome guest behind the decks at Behrouz’ Do Not Sit On The Furniture club in Miami, where he shared the stage with artists like Midas 104, Sainte Vie, Lake People, Mira & Chris, Arutani and many more. 

As the driving force behind the so-called All Day I Dream Appreciation Page, a popular group on Facebook, Oscar and thousands of ADID enthusiasts share new music, track IDs and news related to the beloved label.

But, most of all, Oscar is a tremendous story teller with a faible for emotional music across any of the electronic music genres. We couldn’t be happier to serve his Mojito today.
