ECHOES is a podcast started by IDBH {Aka Colin Cook} focusing on free reign over selections or event folders in an attempt to keep the party experience for the dance floor while allowing a sample of the experience to overflow into a digital medium and presence.

ECHOES.001 features a selection of tracks that were played at INTELLEPHUNK's Communion Sunday event on June 09, 2024 for the debut set of the IDBH Moniker.

Mutual Identities starts the year just right with this very smooth one-hour electro Miami Bass set. This live hardware set was performed at Paradox (ACME party series) in Minneapolis on September 20th, 2024.

Parallel Lounge Se.1 Ep.7 - Mutual Identities

Released under the moniker, Manual Controller, Salutations is the debut album by electronic musician Paul Schwarzkopf. Two years in the making, Salutations fills a unique void, combining indie-rock sensibility with unabashed DIY electronic music production. 

Recorded using strictly virtual-analog synthesizers and drum machines from the 1990’s, Salutations twists and tweaks traditional “dance-floor” machines to create progressive melodies that play out as sonic epics. Songs like “Anthemis Colors” exude fist-in-the air exuberance while others, “Organ Failure,” electronically convey the emotions of a person’s last moments as they die in a car crash.

Bucking the trend of “computer music,” Salutations is accented with flourishes of live drums, guitar, vocoderized vocals and saxophone. The album contains no external samples and relies on the genuine sound of hardware instruments, which carry a warmth and immediacy across the album’s nine tracks.

Interview - Will Maravelas

Manual Controller is the Twin Cities electronic music project of Paul Schwarzkopf. He generates left-of-center "groove-tronica" using all-hardware.
