With a unique blend of influences, Haider's evolving sound spans melancholic dub-infused soundscapes to captivating grooves, focused on sonic maturity.

For over a decade, Haider has been diligently practicing the art of sound and technology, quietly building a significant body of original productions under his birth name. His consistent output has garnered global attention, cementing his place as one of Pakistan’s most promising electronic music producers — with recent tracks championed by tastemakers like DJ Harvey, played on stages from Fusion Festival (DE) to Soundscapes (Zanzibar), and embraced by Romanian heavyweights such as Petre Inspirescu of the RPR Sound System.

Combining influences, and his experiences from vibrant city of Detroit's renowned techno and house music culture followed by a nostalgic feeling inspired by his South Asian roots + his experience DJing across Pakistan at curated shows alongside international acts over the years, Haider's music embodies and blends a captivating fusion of melancholic sounds. 

His body of work and efforts bridges the gap between the music scene in Pakistan and the Western electronic landscape, supported by groundbreaking artists in the past like Lee Burridge, Sasha, John Digweed and many others despite the geographic and cultural distances from techno hubs of the West. 

Haider’s rising star is no accident. He recently remixed a track off Nabihah Iqbal’s Dreamer album for Ninja Tune last year, guested on her NTS Radio show in 2022, and has been often spotlighted by Mixmag London in the past with premieres and editorial features. 

From working with Blond:ish’s Abracadabra imprint to performing his international DJ debut at Jody Wisternoff’s Detroit debut show, Haider continues carving out a global presence with intention and flair, demonstrating qualities such as gratitude, determination and resilience.

"Drifting, emotive and more than a little dreamy — that’s the kind of house music you’ll find on ‘Graduated,’ the debut full-length from the Lahore, Pakistan–based producer Haider Uppal. It’s a beautiful and assured collection of tunes, the culmination of several years of original productions, collaborations, and remixes/edits for the likes of Nightmares On Wax, Powel and BLOND:ISH. Uppal’s musical career started as a teenager back home in Lahore, but ‘Graduated’ began to take shape while attending school in Michigan, where he soaked up the sounds of house and techno emanating from nearby Detroit.

You can hear faint echoes of the kind of music that Motor City artists like the late Mike Huckaby would make while in house mode — but Uppal’s music shares even more in common with the vaguely hallucinatory sound of artists like YokoO. (Perhaps that’s not a coincidence, as he helps to manage YokoO’s Satya label.) Next up for Uppal is a remix for Nabihah Iqbal on Ninja Tune — his future is looking good.”

Gyermekkorom óta szeretem a zenét, az elektronikus zene az ezredforduló környékén kapott el, fókuszban a magyarországi dance és house mellet érkeztek a külföldi előadók is a repertoárba, tizen egypár évesen  magyar oldalról már Náksi & Brunner, Dj Budai, Dj Szeifert, külföldről kezdődően Darude, Mauro Picotto, majd Dj Tiesto, Nick Warren, Sasha, Jody Wisternoff voltak az elsők, majd évről évre bővült a repertoár, az akkori house és trance vonalán.
A kétezres évek elején  nagyon sok új előadót és műfajt ismertem meg és elemeztem, mondhatni útkeresés volt, ebbe bekapcsolódott a klub életből merített tapasztalat, de egy darabig csak sodródtam az árral, egészen 2008-ig., mikor is részt vettem a siófoki Flört the Club Halloween buliján, ahol Victor Calderone volt sztárvendég. Innentől kezdve kezdett kirajzolódni a house iránti szorosabb kötődés, ami 2014-ben teljesedett ki amikor Hernan Cattaneo-t hallottam a budapesti Hyperspace-en zenélni. 
Innentől kezdve a progresszív house átvette az uralmat ami a mai napig magával ragad, inspirál, és tanít. 

2021-be kezdtem foglalkozni a zenéléssel mint Dj, előszőr otthon majd szűkebb körökben, barátokkal.

Immáron a második éve kapok lehetőséget a Prime Fm égisze alatt futó Prime Fm & Friends nevű esemény sorozatnak, ami  tavasztól egészen kora őszig biztosít lehetőséget feltörekvő és tapasztalt Dj-knek Dunakeszin, a festői Duna parton elhelyezkedő Mi a Kavics  bisztró tetőteraszán.
Pár alkalommal a budapesti Nehru parton található Pavilonba is volt szerencsém zenélni afterpartyk alkalmából, valamint a Margit szigeti Kristály színtéren egy nagy szabású baráti évzáró eseményen. 
Legutóbb a balassagyarmati Liget Terasz-on vendégeskedtem egy szezon záró est keretében.

Az uralkodó hangzásvilág Argentínából érkezik, de nyitott vagyok minden új irányra és előadóra a műfajhoz kötődően, hiszen ez egy never ending story.. 🔊🎶🎧🔥

Rodrigo Martinez is an argentinian dj who has started playing  house melodic progressive music . he got influenced by djs like nicolas jar , hernan cattaneo guy j fernando ferreyra  and mariano mellino. nowadays he got 
his own project call soulflight in tucuman argentina.
