Since their first appearance on the show almost 2 years ago, the guys have been busy touring, producing, and establishing their name as one of the hottest upcoming international talents on the scene. Happy happy joy joy! Here's the first single from the forthcoming Olaf Stuut debut album 'Equilibre' which will be released in October on Manual Music. Our claim that Olaf Stuut is currently one of the rising stars of electronic music just got officially confirmed now that he has won this years' Vinylized contest, a competition organised by Stichting Grap together with Amsterdam Dance Event.

'Libre' is the first of (at least) 3 singles which are going to be released from the album, each single getting additional remix treatment. As a remixer for this first single we welcome back a familiar name: Applescal. Applescal has released his first ever single on Manual Music back in 2007, played his first ever live show at one of our parties and still until this day we work closely together with him, taking care of the distribution for his Atomnation label, on which he released his latest full artist album 'Dreaming In Key' earlier this year.

This set was carefully mixed together during the early days of my journey as a downtempo DJ, a time filled with endless exploration, continously listening, and heartfelt appreciation for all forms of chillout music - that somehow shaped one part of my musical journey.

I am deeply grateful for the artists who have shared their creativity and passion through their music. Their artistry has not only inspired me but also touched a lot of listeners.

A significant portion of this set features releases from Altar Records between 2009-2012. The opportunity to represent Altar Records through that era was a kind of privilege. I am thankful for the trust and encouragement extended, and I hope that this humble collection does some justice to both the artists, and the label itself.
