Premiere: Theo Meier - Sundown Therapy (Cioz Remix) [Monaberry]

'Label boss Schtu returns to Casomat with the 'Maltese EP', two original tracks plus a remix by Italian producer Aldebaran, coming fresh off the back of EPs on ISOLATE and Sum Over Histories.

The title track 'Maltese' is a bit of a throwback to some of last decade's classics when melody was still king, proving once again that all you really need to take the dancefloor by storm is a strong groove, the right chord sequence and a killer lead synth. Just the right combination to tickle the eardrums and get the body moving. 

'Jaipur' takes things a whole lot deeper and caters arguably more to the thinkers than the dancers, with its complex & varying arrangement and meticulous attention to sound design being the prevailing characteristics. Still, a healthy dose of Schtu's signature harmonic simultaneity is to be expected throughout. 

Rounding out the EP is a remix by Aldebaran, who burst onto the scene in 2018 and in less than 4 years has already released on the likes of Innervisions, Kompakt, Diynamic, Afterlife and pretty much every other big player that you can think of. He turns Maltese into a hectic, driving beast - layers upon layers piling up yet somehow simultaneously remaining perfectly clear, each one occupying its own little corner of the sonic landscape.'

The main theme "Valley of Hope", is a well crafted progressive track, with a an energetic drive groove. Rising Brazilian producer Tonaco put his fingerprint on the remix with a hypnotic and atmospheric remix. Second track "Shield", has a deeper and introspective feeling with soft elements and some organic percussion. Closing the EP, Transensations label boss Gorkiz collab with Colombian duo NUFECTS debuting on the label, presents a denser, more rhythmic ambience and a hypnotic atmosphere remix. We are pleased to announce the new EP from Chiari, another Brazilian talent who seems to possess the innate ability to create sounds that put us back at our centre, in our present moment and before the transformative power of Organic House. Amidst a danceable groove, the track "D'un Jour" transposes a sensual and at the same time, daydreaming ambience. It's like a drop of water in the desert. 

Invited by the label, Enigmatic was in charge of bringing two versions for the track. His Daydream Remix is sentimental and spiritual, like an ancestral electronic journey, supported by the immense potential of electronic music to mix the natural and the synthetic. Finally, Night Remix amplifies the House beats and addresses a moment of tension and relief worthy of the hottest moments on a dance floor.
