We welcome Jelly For The Babies and Buba to Monog Records with the superb debut Emocija EP. Both these guys have amassed extensive back catalogues over the years, garnering much respect from their peers. From a young age, JFTB was into electronic music and, since 2007, he has been honing his studio skills in the production of various genres of music. He manages three labels and boasts worldwide support. Buba is considered one of the most promising producers to come out of Montenegro. Currently he is enjoying the release of his studio album – Dreamlands, and we’ve no doubt his creativity will grab a lot of attention. We’re delighted to have both on board.

The Original Mix of Let creates a solid, driving break beat groove. Chunky beats and bright hats are joined by exotic percussions which takes us deeper into the vibe. Dark stabs and a strong, pulsating bass lead us deeper as cosmic synths add a melodic charm to the groove. The break adds serene beach ambience as the synths open up for maximum impact before the beats return for the duration. Not to be missed.

First up on the remix we have Christopher Ivor's Daydream version of Let. Christopher is no stranger to Monog having debuted here with The Dreamscape EP. Growing up with music steered him to take the DJ, producer path he is on now. Over the years his style has become very broad and eclectic and this is something we love to celebrate. Here, Christopher delivers a beautifully composed and enchanting cut with a distinct Balearic vibe that makes you long for a trip to the White Isle. Buttery smooth beats and warm basses are joined by sounds of the beach and that rich, whispered yet hair-raising vocal. Melodic arpeggios become infectious as we’re lured into the mesmeric groove. Top-notch stuff that does not disappoint.

The Original Mix of Talas is a deeper affair, with sub level basses droning on the low end. The bass produces a powerful response with emotive changes, complimenting the rising and intense strings and synths. Rhythmic percussions and a nice punchy kick force you to move while the tensions rise. The break unleashes the full force of the stacked synths, taking us to a higher plain and making this an absolute must have.

Mario Neha debuts on Monog with a wonderful remix of Talas. Switzerland based DJ, producer Mario, boasts a wide and varied catalogue of releases over the years. He runs his own imprint called Inyan Music, releasing quality cuts at every turn. Great to have him here. On the remix here, Mario adds an extra sprinkling of grunt to the groove with those plucky synth basses which are contrasted with wispy pads and scattered FX. Rich and dynamic, the track exists on a multi-layered construction moving between the light and the dark with changing emotions. Beautifully worked and deftly executed, this one is a must have.

Keeping the long history of introducing exciting (Dutch) talents to the scene alive, Manual Music welcomes Jelle van Leeuwen.

After a start in the Dutch rock circuit, Jelle now works at the Soundwise Studios in Amsterdam, where he is working together with big (pop) artists and for big TV productions during the day time. At night he's got time to explore his passion for electronic music.

'See The Glow' is his official debut release and includes three original productions, two of them featuring his own vocals. Give 'em a spin and be amazed!

With this in mind, we proudly present Magent. The Ukranian producer has been on our radar for some time, crafting a unique blend of melancholic techno full of character. For his first project with TOR, Dark Room is the perfect insight into Magent’s sound. The track builds at every step, entracing listeners in a mysterious world. Having released the acclaimed Be Mine on Crosstown Rebels in 2017, Berlin-based Siopis lands on Rebellion with Unconditional, a poignant two-tracker that features the vocals of esteemed DnB lyricist, MC Coppa.

“An interview with Lauryn Hill inspired me to make this release. It blew me away and I felt it straight in my heart, so I wanted to share the deep message that comes from it. I put her vocals into the break of the lead track, and Unconditional was born.” Siopis.

Beginning with the ethereal sounds of Unconditional, the lead track is a journey into electronic music’s spiritual realm, as supple keys vibrate alongside a gently moving bassline. A sample from Lauryn Hill’s iconic speech acts as the breakdown, before the emotive bassline comes back in to pull deeply on our heartstrings. Kaleidoscope feat. MC Coppa completes the release. Bubbling with subtle hats and dreamy pads, the moving cut takes on a tougher edge with MC Coppa’s stirring monologue, whilst Siopis’ flagship club ready sound features right the way through to form a track that sounds perfect at home, and on the dancefloor.

A prolific producer, Siopis has been carving out a career in electronic music for more than a decade. Previously known under his Silversurfer moniker, he is responsible for some of Crosstown Rebels’ earliest releases, producing 2004’s Parisis and collaborating with Kiki on the seminal Shake Off that same year. Fast-forward to more recent times where continued releases on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels and M.A.N.D.Y’s Get Physical Music have helped define his emotional, dance-oriented sound, whilst frequent performances at clubbing institutions such as Hoppetosse and Golden Gate have established him as a regular on the Berlin circuit. 
With international sets under his belt at the likes of Miami’s Ocean’s Ten and Mexico’s Americana Club Social, the future continues to shine bright for Siopis.

Now marching into its third year as a label, Behrouz's Do Not Sit On The Furniture continues to furnish us with some of the most captivating, organic and deep house possible. Defying the curse of 2020, the label has been consistent in its approach and delivery this year, perpetually immersing us in a sound that transcends the dancefloors and permeates our imagination in ways that many labels can only dream of. 
Following big dispatches from SEGG, Shai T and Dorian Craft comes another sonic delight from Matthias Meyer. A kindred sonic spirit, here the Watergate legend makes his debut with the beautiful 'Lacuna'. Eight minutes of sultry, dusky moonlit house pleasure, slowly but surely 'Lacuna', created in collaboration with good friend Xinobi, opens out with layers of sweeping, swooping chords and instrumentation over a loose, light-footed jacking beat. Gathering momentum throughout, there's a touching moment of respite on the breakdown before the emotions takeover for the grand finale. 
It's complemented by another like-minded soul as Warung's Facundo Mohrr also makes his label debut with an exemplary remix. Extending the groove by well over a minute and adding a distinctly Latin hip-wriggling twist with a rolling beat and sprightly keys bringing a whole new musical layer. 
One track, one remix, one super-consistent label, two on-point producers: Do Not Sit On The Furniture continue to march into the unknown. You'd be wise to join them.

LowaddcitsSoundsystem is a DJ/Producer duo from The Netherlands. They make something what they like to call 'trip-hop house' which means downtempo electronic music but with the drive of house music. They get their inspiration mostly from Fink, Bonobo, Deadmau5 and Underworld. 

Hide & Seek, featuring the beautiful vocals of Dax, is one of their trademark songs and now gets a fresh remix treatment by Manual Music boss Paul Hazendonk. Available in both a full vocal as well as an instrumental version.
