Stealth is a special compilation selected and mixed by Peter Van Hoesen. The fourteen track album pulls together his own exclusive material along with previously unreleased tracks from his closest musical peers. It comes in the form of three EPs (both on vinyl and digital), a digital download as well as a special mix CD. 

The idea here was for Peter to combine a mix album with an artist album; to marry his own music with the sounds he is influenced by. The cultured likes of Voices from the Lake, Mike Parker, Yves De Mey and Imaginary Softwoods, amongst others, all make the cut. “I believe less and less in the artist as a solo subject, whereby the ego of the artist seems to be the driving force,” he explains of the thinking behind this project. “On the contrary, I think we exist within a multitude of connections, who we are is as much defined by who is around us. Stealth is a little reminder of that.” 

Originally Peter intended to edit and remix the tracks he was sent from friends, but instead he allows them to play out in full as they knit with his own style so perfectly. The Time To Express boss here offers us a perfect window into his current musical world. It is one where there is a keen and streamlined focus on trance inducing percussive patterns (especially on his own contributions) and is where techno takes on a spiritual, otherworldly form that truly consumes your mind. “I really feel that a new chapter is starting in me,” he says. “And this project serves as a subtle announcement of that”.

Cooee! is a shout used in Australia, usually in the bush to attract attention, find missing people, or indicate one's own location. When done correctly?loudly and shrilly?a call of "cooee" can carry over a considerable distance and is this case, the call of Cooee is to attract people to the dancefloor. 

A rolling track that grows and growls with a steady guitar pluck, it is then filled out with big drum fills and horns that give a sense of eeriness. One can imagine stuck in the outback with these tribal sounds encapturing the senses.

Re.You's remix winds up from start to finish with heavy use of drums and percussion whilst Kaiser Souzais take delves into the techno realm with massive sounds that will most definitely rock a few festival dancefloors around the world.

As they say, shout out Cooee and you will likely get a response.

'For our 34th release on Juicebox Music, we have a 2-track collaborative EP between two fantastic Argentinian producers - Berni Turletti & Matias Chilano, both consistently pushing the progressive space with pure passion. Relatively newer to the scene, Berni Turletti's appearance on Nick Warren's "The Soundgarden" & "Hope Recordings" (through his EP with Dimuth K) as well as Antrim's "Or Two Strangers" cemented his place as a force to be reckoned with. Returning back to Juicebox Music, after his remix of "Monojoke - Backwards", the more veteran Matias Chilano's decade long discography needs no real introduction with standout associations on Tash's "Movement Recordings", "Proton Music" & "Particles". Recently, not one, but two of Matias' remixes went on to feature in Patrice Baumel's GU42 Berlin on mighty Global Underground, a monumental milestone for any.

Berni Turletti & Matias Chilano put their strengths to the table to deliver a balanced combination of their signature sounds in the form of "Alumine" & "Forgettable", filled with solid low-end grooves, soaring leads & spacey atmospherics. Joining the pack as the only remixer is another returning artist from our roster - Anton MAKe, whose remix of Michael A's "Endless Time" was one of the best ways we could close 2018. Anton's equally impressive catalog features an impressive list of associations including Cid Inc & Orsen's "Replug", Mango's "Mango Alley" & Milos' "Balkan Connection" to name a few. Anton's version on "Alumine" heads towards a more deeper & hypnotic space but loaded with tension for the main melody to shine through, rounding off the release in a classy manner.'
