This is the story of a guy who has been releasing one quality progressive house release after another for a couple of years now already, but strangely enough has never released on Manual Music's main progressive house imprint. This story is about to end, because we're proud to welcome Roberto Traista on board.. finally!

The Romanian born has built up quite a diverse discography over the course of his production career with appearances on Agara Music, Sixtysevensuns, System Records, BC2, ADRO Records, Clinique Recordings and Opendecks Records all standing out. 

Roberto’s productions have always been quite intriguing. From his unique design which conjures up images of futuristic wastelands to strong groove components that always keep things focused on the dance floor. As with most Roberto Traista productions the framework is tough and filled with punch. There is always a definite sense of hope coming from his works within the melody and it drives his productions to a classy conclusion. 

Here on his brand new 'Last Night EP' he drops two brand new tracks in his trademark sound, complemented with a warm timeless dreamy remix by Yuriy From Russia and a more punchy minimalistic effort by Jaramillo.

After his unofficial remixes for Depeche Mode, New Order and MGMT, @dj-riza is back with a new interpretation. This time he reworks the lovely 'Round and Round' by Ariel Pink.

"I have discovered Ariel Pink's music at the end of last year and from first listen it took my attention so much, that I start to listen to all his albums several times and find some really interesting songs and parts which could be sampled and made into a dancefloor version. I have picked Round and Round, because of the nostalgic and calm vibe. Sampling the main loop of the whole track, filling it up with Ariel's phrases, then expanding it into a hippie kind of breakdown. I have picked my synths for this one very carefully, just wanted some underskin tones and here and there some atmospheric fillers as I didn't wanted to ruin the main vibe. Hope you enjoy this one!"

If there's one producer that has been rapidly rising to widespread international recognition and support it must be Kamilo Sanclemente. Especially in the past year / year and a half, the Colombian artist has been prominently knocking on the door of the global progressive house community with a constant output of high quality music, leading him to become one of the most wanted- and loved producers out there at the moment. Perspectives, Parquet, The Soundgarden and FSOE are only a few examples of labels he has been working for, and we're proud to call him one of our own too here at Manual Music / MNL.

It is with great delight we're welcoming him back on board our label, presenting four of his strongest tracks to date, all bundled up and titled 'Like Cats From Space EP'- after his love for (his) cats and fascination for outer space.

Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born. 

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.

The digital version also features a bonus track; 'A Further Existence'.

Jiggler - Losing Me [Snippet]

'Tunisia' is the brand-new throbbing club burner from ‘Dr.Alfred & Afrobeat’. Whether it's the deeply delicious uplifting melodies and dramatic strings of 'Tunisia', there can be no denying that the duo is on a roll. Their distinctive style and attention to detail mark them out, as having unique creative talent. For the full-length release, we are treated to stunning reworks from sound kings and beat maestros Iokhonda & ROTEN and FictiOne.

We kick things off with original track, which brings an amalgamation of rugged bass tones, subtle drum programming and cleverly chopped samples and intricately weaved chord progressions, building to a beautiful breakdown before gradually rebuilding the elements to an unrelenting crescendo of breathy drum licks, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline to close out this massive production. Cool stuff!

First up on remix duty we see the debut of Iokhonda & ROTEN on ICONYC. They deliver a blissful sound journey, oozing of coolness, accentuated by warm pads that feel like a silky blanket of sonic spheres, which wrap you into an alluring soundscape without losing the energy of the original. This excellent rework firmly proves the duo’s superb production chops and diverse musical tapestry. Absolute massive remix that should not be missed! 

The second remix comes from FictiOne whose recent releases have been doing the business on the dance floors of the world. His remix flows with ease from the instant it starts, encapsulating a wealth of cool beats which are present throughout, as well as driving sounds that are met with a big low end creating a timeless bubbler that will make you move. FictiOne has taken the essence of the original and wrapped it in a blanket of progressive grooves to cause havoc with your senses.
