Formed in 2022 in the dark, labyrinthine streets of Reykjavík, Sæfhaus quickly became the heartbeat of a new wave of Nordic electronica. With their distinctive fusion of icy atmospheres, deep basslines, and brooding, almost cinematic vocals, the group made a name for themselves as both an enigmatic force in the underground music scene.

Sæfhaus' music is a tapestry of stark electronic textures, enveloping the listener in a blanket of atmospheric sound. Their early work was heavily influenced by the natural world—glacial winds, volcanic rumblings, and the stillness of the northern lights—and fused that with industrial beats and the minimalist touch of Scandinavian design.

Their debut album, "Ætheric Collapse" (2023), introduced their signature sound: heavy, reverberating basslines, complex, sometimes discordant rhythms, and haunting vocals that drift like smoke over a darkened sea. Tracks like "Glass Corridor" and "False Floor" became anthems for a generation captivated by the idea of losing themselves in isolation.
