Manuel Di Martino also runs Persistence and Ribbon, but has also featured on other labels like Coyu's Suara, Marco Faraone's UNCAGE, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien and Evod Music.

Berlin-based Gene Richards Jr is making waves with his appearances on Radio Slave's RSPX, Chris Liebing's CLR, Marco Faraone's UNCAGE and Shlomi Aber's Be As One.

Efdemin is a veteran producer who has released on highly respected labels like Berghain's Ostgut Ton, Inland's Counterchange, Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts.

Luigi Madonna’s record label, Contempo presents a high-energy techno release by Manuel Di Martino that fuses raw sound design with immersive atmospherics.

Manuel Di Martino is an Italian artist currently living in Berlin where he plays regularly at prestigious clubs such as Tresor. He is also an accomplished producer known for his tracks on respected techno record labels such as Coyu's Suara, Marco Faraone's UNCAGE, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien and Evod Music. He also runs his own imprints, Parallel 41, Persistence and Ribbon, which have been regular outlets for his music.

"Citylife" opens the release with its fast-paced tribal percussion and deep synth stabs that layer with atmospheric vocal tones. "I Spent My Days" has hypnotic, dubby pads and sensual vocal tones fused with high-velocity rhythms and trippy vocals. "G1.0" is a jackin’ track with explosive percussion vocal stabs and thrashing hi-hats. "See Ya In PV" closes out the release with laser-focused synths that swell with intensity as they unfold over a driving kick drum and punishing clap rhythms.

Italian techno virtuoso Manuel Di Martino reappears on his newest imprint Parallel 41, with the release of Evoluzione, a vinyl and digital EP set to captivate the headiest of techno fans. Di Martino, known for his contributions to labels like Coyu’s Suara, Marco Faraone’s UNCAGE, and Ricardo Garduno’s Illegal Alien also includes another quality remixer to the package following on from the likes of Luigi Madonna and Efdemin previously.

This time Manuel adds the allure of Swedish artist Dold, whose impressive discography includes releases on esteemed labels like Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, Pfirter’s MindTrip, Kr!z’s Token, TWR72’s Float and Remco Beekwilder’s EMERALD.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the remix of “Evoluzione” that is a fast-paced juggernaut. Propped up with a raw, analogue groove, the stabbing chords add a haunting flair and an intense clap frenzy in the breakdown creates a worthy crescendo before relaunching as a dance floor missile once again.

The DifferentSound Podcast #302 welcomes Manuel Di Martino! Manuel Di Martino was born in 1990 in Italy, he has loved music since he was a child, following in his father's footsteps, he accesses his vinyl collection. In 2004 at the age of 14 he began playing in the first clubs, inspired by the Hip-Hop / Rap genre and the House sounds of Chicago and Detroit. True lover and connoisseur of Techno made in Naples, inspired by the great names of the time such as Gaetano Parisio, Marco Carola, Rino Cerrone, Davide Squillace, Danilo Vigorito. He has always brought this sound into his DJ sets and productions. In 2011 he began his studio activity as a producer, releasing his first album with strong dub-techno influences. After a few years, the first important collaborations arrive with artists such as Scan7, Raffaele Attanasio, Johannes Volk 2017 is a fundamental year for him, he opens his Persistence label where he has hosted names of the caliber of: Denise Rabe, Endlec, Pacou, Sleeparchive, Fabrizio Rat, Mike Storm, Fanon Flowers, Oisel, Ben Gibson, Hadone, Sawline, Oliver Rosemann, Lokermatik and others. In the same year he plays at the legendary Tresor in Berlin, where he has recently moved to find new stimuli and open up to new musical ideas. He had the honor of remixing legends like Ken Ishii and Robert Armani in 2020, in the same period he releases an EP on Marco Faraone's Uncage label, called "The Gold of Napoli" with remixes by Keith Carnal, In 2022 he released an EP on Ribbon with remixes by Luigi Tozzi and PTTNRECURRENT and another EP on Etruria called "Keep Moving", remixed by Boston 168. He has just launched his new label called Parallel 41, on it he collaborated with Efdemin, Dold, Luigi Madonna, Pushmann, Subradeon, Gene Richards Jr and many more.

This mix was recorded live from Reaktor's Katharsis event in 2017.  For those that don't know, Katharsis happens once a year and is dedicated to the faster, harder and more industrial side of techno.  This was my entire 3 hour set from that night.

Over the last few years we have built a steady relationship doing events together and sharing our passion for this music.  We are teaming up once again for ADE 2018 and releasing this mix as a thank you to all our followers and supporters.

In 2022 he released an EP on Ribbon with remixes by Luigi Tozzi and PTTNRECURRENT and another EP on Etruria called "Keep Moving", remixed by Boston 168.

He has just launched his new label called Parallel 41 with his first EP "Movement" with remixes by Luigi Madonna, Subradeon and Pushmann.

Throughout his career, Manuel has received support from a wide variety of respected artists in the industry, including Luke Slater, Ben Sims, DVS1, Marcell Dettman, Ben Klock, Laurent Garnier, Efdemin, Shifted and many others.

He has played in the major Italian clubs but above all in Europe, always bringing new proposals and new sounds.
