BASECAMP - "2 Thingz"

The Page Of Life album was composed during 2009-2011 in a home studio.
The genre is still electronic chillout as a previous album Dream Element.
Most of the instruments used are VST plugins sequenced in Cubase, in addition to Virus B synthesizer and Electric guitar.

All tracks were composed and arranged by me except track no.9 that was composed by my sister Anna 25 years ago and recreated in 2011 from my memory as a child. And also track no.2 that was inspired by Russian old movie Michailo Lomonosov.

We've been watching this producer closely - so much so that he's become a familiar face and an important member of the FKOF fam. @darjeelingz, if you don't know him, is a phenomenal producer, based in France, who continues to amaze us.

We consider Darj's debut FKOF EP to be a true work of art, containing 6 ruff cuts that will definitely set the groove. Having discovered him nearly three years ago, the producer's sound has grown an almost unimaginative amount. What started out as a brainstorm of roughly 800 drum & bass track titles now makes up the conceptual ‘Under The Influence’, a unique and nostalgic trip through Visionobi’s influences from fan to MC.

With the array of track names making up a 64-bar verse, it was Visionobi’s intention to create something personal but relevant to the whole scene, whilst highlighting his dexterity as a lyrics man.

Choosing to call upon production duo Gerra & Stone to create the beat was an obvious choice, with his relationship with the pair extending back to early MCing days. The hugely engaging video comes courtesy of production company Family Creative, which is run by two of Visionobi’s closest friends.
