As the title suggests, 'Space Odyssey' takes the listener on an adventurous journey through sound.

A thumping return from Ossie, this four-track EP is the follow up to his 2016 release 'In A House’ on label SuperCali - a collection of tunes described by the Legendary Gilles Peterson as “Smashment”.

The new record blasts off with self-titled track ’Space Odyssey’ - a compelling opener that pulls you in instantly with its popping percussion, chest-kicking drums, captivating synths and melodious top line nicely fused to create this future floor-filler. Smoothly transitioning to the darker arts of Dance, ‘Wires’ is a commanding anthem; an impressive alliance of hard house and future bass, peppered with echoing chants and moody atmospherics. Appearing third is a bass-rich Dub version of Space Odyssey before signing off in classy fashion, with jewel “Round The Way” - an unapologetically funky number that casts an immediate spell on dancing feet.

Slated for a March release, this EP looks set to warm up some speakers in the Spring time and pave the way for an even hotter Summer.

‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’ is the third release on Leo Johnson’s newly formed Strangelove imprint that welcomes London-based DJ/producer Karuva to the evergrowing roster of talent, with nitro-fuelled beats, voodoo rhythm and healthy dose of Miami Bass.

Karuva’s title cut ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’ features a fresh and charismatic rap vocal, an off-kilter drum and sub figure and sleazy rolling bass. With plenty of gusto for the late-night party this sure-fire disco wrecker is sure to leave the dancefloor in an absolute scramble.  On the B-side ‘The Underground’ offers a slightly more rhythmic funk to its counterpart, on a tightly tuned Miami 808 flex - infectiously good energy! An essential disc.
