Forgotten Light is a metal band from Italy, Sardinya.
Author of very modern heavy metal songs with a mix of melodic and aggressive riffs and clean / growling vocals, metal progressive lines and researched lyrics, it records its debut album "Where Light Ends".

The album contains 6 tracks entirely produced by Forgotten Light, recorded and mixed at SpaceCraft Studio by Christian Scarponi (aka Dick Laurent, performer and guitarrist of the celebrated italian band Cadaveria) during October 2012 - April 2013,

Banda marplatense formada en el año 2004 bajo las influencias de diversas bandas de rock, generando su propio estilo poderoso sin dejar de lado la melodía y la esencia de la canción.
Integrada por Nacho en voz, Fito en guitarra, Monty en bajo y Gastón en batería se presenta como una de las mejores nuevas propuestas del Under Argentino, según la prensa especializada.
Con su primer disco “Emerger”, comenzó sus presentaciones en el año 2004 recorriendo todo el circuito local, costa atlántica y capital federal. En mayo de 2005, DOGO fue invitado para abrir el show de La Renga en el patinodromo Municipal de Mar del Plata tocando para más de 12.000 personas.
En el 2006, la banda fue premiada por el jurado de la 4° Bienal Nacional de Arte Joven en la categoría mejor banda de rock obteniendo el primer puesto y participando del CD compilado del evento.
En el año 2007 la firma Quicksilver, en conjunto con surfistas argentinos, seleccionaron a DOGO como banda de sonido para su DVD promocional de la marca.
En el 2008 edita "EN MI TORMENTA" grabado en los estudios “UNA NUBE”  en Santa Clara del Mar, el CD  esta compuesto de 11 canciones creadas y producidas íntegramente por DOGO.
Este disco también fue presentado en diversos escenarios de toda la costa atlántica y de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, teniendo la posibilidad de compartir escenario con bandas como Vetamadre, Cabezones, Pez, 2 Minutos y Smitten.

Juntamente con este álbum llegaron los primeros videos en la historia de la banda, videoclips de las canciones “GRITANDO” y “CICATRICES”, ambos también realizados de manera independiente, y que pudieron ser vistos en TV, en canales de música con rotación nacional, y presentados en el Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente (MARFICI).

A partir de las presentaciones, de nuevos espacios de composición y las experiencias compartidas, fueron surgiendo las nuevas ideas que llevaron a la composición de una cantidad creciente de nuevo material musical, unido a la exploración de nuevos horizontes sonoros. Esto se cristalizó en un paulatino cambio en el sonido de la banda y también en un enfoque más preciso en cuanto a la madurez de las composiciones.

En 2012 DOGO fue seleccionada por Mario Pergolini y la radio Capitalina VORTERIX para rotar con su canción “GRITANDO” logrando una vez mas incursionar en medios nacionales. 

En enero de 2013 la banda fue seleccionada por el Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación para compartir escenario junta a EL OTRO YO en el escenario montado en el centro cultural Unzué de Mar del Plata tocando para mas de 4000 personas.

En Octubre de 2013, sale a la venta su nueva producción discográfica llamada "SALVANDO LAS DISTANCIAS", con 13 nuevas canciónes, y cuenta con la participación de Julio Breshnev de la banda VETAMADRE como invitado en la cancion "Convénceme"
