Whether spatial – Spacey Koala – or soft – Sleepy Koala – his melodies are always remarkable. He sculpts the sounds, handles the guitar, and arranges these brilliantly tuned elements to compose his musical works. Koala strives to convey to listeners his gratitude for the universe, as he delivers his opus from the richness of the natural symphony that encircles our world. Coming from Manouche jazz learned in his hometown of Gaspé, a pupil to the teaching of Louis Vallée, he chose soundscaping as a life project and pursued university studies in this sense. The Australian label Kinematic Records, founded by Terrafractyl aka Hypnagog aka Felix Fractal, house his rhythmic architecture. Spatial or soft, the Koala travels on the web and around our blue planet to destinations of Australia, Mexico, United States, Panama, Canada, Quebec, and probably your ears.

As Manu Phono has released several Psytrance tracks and two full albums "Estructuras Cambiantes" 2019 Mastered by KinDzaDza  and "Red Delicious" 2023 mastered by Biolab Studio in Berlin; both  released with the Italian label Nutria Dance Records. In 2021 it appears for the first time on Goa Gil's Divine Dozen Chart and does so again in 2023. His particular and characteristic style is a blend of forest, dark and fast psychedelic trance music. He has performed at several successful events since 2010. Sharing stages and parties with artists such as Kunan tripper, Somos, Calabi Yau, Adansonia, Will o Wisp, Glosolalia, Pandoras Box, Zagan, Theotrophos, Tyamat, Ñutram Kalku, Megalopsy, Frantik Noise, Expedizionika, Noove, Vix, Automata Theory, Necropsycho, Orestis, Psykovsky.
