After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong. 

Over the summer months you can catch Wankelmut playing at Urban Art Forms, Big Festival, Melt!, plus back to back gigs across Europe.

Luis Leon is a producer and DJ from Peru, South America. He's the creator of bangers such as: “Love Is A Lie” on Double Tree Records as well as an unofficial but much loved edit of “This Charming Man” by The Smiths. 

He is always working on new edits to inject his DJ sets with a unique flavour and musical personality. His edit of Maverick Sabre’s “I Need” has achieved over 2.5 million plays and still gets a lot of love from fellow artists. Some other remixes has been released successfully in the last year with his unique touch such as “Beating Stronger”  by Atapy on Cimelde Records and “Like A Drug”  by Alex Barck feat. Tapesh was brought up in his father’s clubs during the early 80s, where he had no choice but to listen to things like Kraftwerk and proper funk music.

Given his impressionable young ears, it’s no wonder he has never stopped listening and now spends his days playing music to others. Having finally broken through into the public conscious thanks to productions like Reminisce on Get Physical, Feelings on Mobilee as well as others on labels like Noir and Defected, Tapesh has become very much in demand around the world, taking his flamboyant DJ sets to clubs like ANTS IBIZA USHUAIA, Watergate Berlin and Thuishaven in the Netherlands.

With multi-cultural roots informed by everything from house to breakdance across scenes in UK, US and Europe, Tapesh has fomented a very unique DJ style that takes in plenty of sounds and knits them together into one grater whole. Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, DJ T and Anja Schneider, for example, are all fans of that special ‘Tapesh feeling’, and that same feeling is what makes the man’s music so well loved. As for the future, Tapesh is currently working on a new compilation and a full artist album as well as working on new singles and EPs all the while.

This gig confirmed the fact that quality always wins and that we can support great acts during unforgetable nights like these. As we are still enjoying the afterfeeling we decided to share our positivity with you by compiling a new mixing full of energetic and vibing tracks!
