In August 2010, Kreations From Above (KFA) released a 20th Anniversary Mixed CD - Keepin It Real 2010. All proceeds from the CD went to the DJ Hideo memorial fund, so if you enjoy this mix and feel so inclined - a donation @ www.djhideo.com is greatly appreciated.

This is track started as a nice nostalgic run through some late 80s /early 90s Hip Hip and R&B, but quickly became very complex as there were so many songs that just needed to be in the mix. The track was almost titled "It's Complicated"...because, well, it is. Due to the time constraints of the CD, 99 tracks were compressed into a 15 minute mix.

End result - a trip through old skool hip-hop and r&b songs, with some pop and new jack thrown in for good measure. Everything from Run-DMC, Whodini, Dana Dane, Beastie Boys, to Ice Cube, Public Enemy, 2Pac, Black Sheep, Gangstarr, to BBD, Wreckx n Effect, Keith Sweat, and even Color Me Badd, New Edition, and Lauren Wood (whaaat?) 

Go ahead, give it a listen...if it makes you say Yeah, Damn, or WTF just happened?!?, then my work here is done.
