Born and raised in Harare Zimbabwe, Lennox Takura is a self taught DJ, Producer, Singer and Songwriter based in New York City. His music journey began at an early age, after he fell in love with rapping over hip hop instrumentals and producing mixtapes with his friends. 

After his immediate family relocated to Johannesburg South Africa, he found himself enamored by the sounds of South African dance music (at the time recognized as kwaito). He would ultimately discover a deep passion for the house music genre, where he now spends the majority of his time, seamlessly weaving together African percussion with modern dance rhythms. 

His productions typically explore sounds primarily within the Afro House and Afro Tech spaces. His DJ sets often blur the lines between genres, weaving together Afro House, Afro Tech, Nu Disco and Baile Funk to name just a few.
