Maps of You is the joint effort of singer / songwriter Shai Chu and producer Sebastian Mejia.
A sweet pop concoction of lush vocals, jazzy textures, and funk-driven beats.

Most of these tracks were recorded as part of my assignments at Berklee and other studies.  The backing tracks I used for Comfortably Numb and For the Love of God were from <a href="http://GuitarBackingTrack.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">GuitarBackingTrack.com</a> (used for academic purposes).  Other backing tracks by Robin Stone (Berklee instructor) and the Steve Vai Naked Tracks.  All recorded in my home studio using Apogee interface into Logic Pro 9 or portable studio using MOTU UltraLite-mk3 Hybrid (also into Logic Pro 9).  Modeling guitar rig is a combination of the Fractal Audio Systems Axe-FX II and the Kemper Profiling Amp.  Analog rig is Mesa Stereo Simul-Class 2: Ninety paired with Mesa TriAxis (into a pair of Palmer ADIG-LB speaker simulators).  Contest mixes in the box with Logic Pro 9 or X with Brainworx, iZotope, Softube, FabFilter, Lexicon, SoundToys, and Waves.
