I am a folksinger/harpist/pianist and licensed Simply Music Piano teacher from Auckland. This SoundCloud is for my personal music. note very few student performances.

i was not musical as a child. i was much more into softball and cheerleading and dancing. then an accident changed things for me. i was no longer able to do the things i loved to do, and one day i picked up a little toy keyboard. i started to play around on it, and make up songs, and i would record them on my little tape recorder given to me. then once i became of age, i joined the jazz band at my school, where i played the piano, then in another year or two i moved to the flute, having lost interest in the piano altogether. since that year i have been playing the flute and have progressed to different types of flutes, my specialty now being the native flute. i don't brag much about my music but i have been told that i have a very unique voice and that i make it look easy. :D it's not actually easy, it's just that i get really into the music.
