My name is Alice and I am a genuine nerd, not just some hipster girl with glasses. I have the psychological scars to prove it.  ;)  When I'm not hanging out and learning with bigger nerds, I spend my time playing music. I can sing in Latin, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Hebrew, and I'm decent at conjugating French verbs. I am learning conversational German. I spend most of my time on Khan academy, or discussing temporal anomalies and generally bullshitting with my nerd friends. I am not the most exciting or social person, however, I do step away from my computer long enough to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or an anxiety attack. I am convinced that the cesium atomic clock is only measuring the decay of cesium and has nothing to do with measuring time. I am probably posting that here because the U.S. Navy wouldn't respond to my question when I asked them if they were sure.  Did I mention I am a nerd? Now that we're officially awkward due to years of my lack of socialization, I can go back to burrowing in my books where I belong. KIRK OUT.
