Nice build. Instrument patterns have an evocative pacing structure; and the mood is hopeful. :)

Reminds me of riding on a train; but more the stowaway leaving a bad life behind, in search of something better.

Now the stowaway daydreams his time away as the sun slowly sets. Beautiful (and clearly visually inspiring, haha) piece of music. :)

Gary Clarke joined a social media platform to raise awareness about an infrastructure issue in his local area by creating a website at Whaligoe Eye in August, 2021. During this time, he stumbled across a poetry and writing community which provided support and encouragement for his creativity.

Living right on the coastline in the Highlands of Scotland provides Gary with plenty of inspiration for his poetic endeavours, and through moments of sunrise and sunset gracing the North Sea it proves to be a motivational muse.

erased lines cartography (2018/2019)

The main theme in this track was originally recorded in 2009 and titled "Harvest". While going through a particularly emotionally challenging  time during Autumn 2019, I was listening to a remaster of Harvest and thinking it would be nice to extend it and slow things down. Now I have done that I thought it would be appropriate to re-title it Autumn's Shadow. The field recordings in this track were made at Conwy harbour late at night with the eerie wind resonating around the metallic boat masts and other structures, and the lone blackbird singing sweetly in Liverpool city centre which could be heard from some considerable distance away cutting through the urban soundscape which was refreshing and delightful. I had to record that moment.
