Marc Antero is one of the real house heads that keeps the spirit of this culture alive. His love for the music can be traced all the way back to 1999 when House Music was still more than a gimmick. The Constance native maintained residencies in well known clubs like the “Dome" Lindau, hosted several events with well respected artists like Terrence Parker, Jamies Lewis or Ata and hold court at the infamous Snow Zone Festival on the Les Deux Alpes glacier. Times may have changed a bit but not so the enthusiasm and the fire that still keeps burning deeply in Marc´s chest. After playing some phenomenal sets at our three years NBAST anniversary nights we are gassed to have the geazer contributing to our 22nd Soulcast episode. Whoever thinks you can´t teach an old dog new tricks better sits down, hits play and takes a lesson by the man who has spent more than twenty years of dedication to House Music. #datsoulthang

Erfahrung:
1999 begann alles in Überlingen am Bodensee im phat!-Club von Peter Kaufmann. Der Second Floor war ein gemütlich eingerichtetes „Wohnzimmer“ mit Sofas und Tapete an der Wand und einem hervorragendem Soundsystem. Die Partys hier waren in einem entspannten und freundschaftlichen Rahmen. Es folgten Gigs im Tempel in Radolfzell, dem damals wohl innovativsten Club am Bodensee. Hier spielten auch viele der DJs die ihn nachhaltig prägten und motivierten. Dies war der Startschuss für eine wundervolle Reise, die ihn bisher an viele Orte geführt hat. Z.B. diverse Clubs am Bodensee, wo er im Dome in Lindau lange Zeit Resident war. Oder im Rauch Club in Feldkirch (A), als er Teil der Kombo „Funk Foundation“ war. Zu erwähnen ist auch die Teilnahme an drei Snowzones (F), wo unter anderem der Gletscher in Les Deux Alpes bespielt wurde. Nicht zu vergessen diverse Partys, die er zusammen mit einem Freund organisierte und dort das Warm Up für die Headliner wie Terrence Parker, Jamie Lewis, Ata,… übernahm. Unterbrochen wurde die Auflegerei durch zwei Babypausen, um danach nur noch motivierter zurückzukommen. Alle Geschichten zu erzählen würde zu lange dauern. Er glaubt fest daran, dass soulful Music dem Dancefloor ein breites Grinsen, Zufriedenheit und ausgelassene Stimmung bescheren kann.
