Was war das für bitte für eine Nacht !?! Unglaublich, wir schütteln heute noch den Kopf. 
Zunächst von Herzen ein Dankeschön, an all die Tänzer, die sich diese Nacht so lange in die Schlange gestellt haben und das Mensch Meier mit ihrer Energie verzaubert und mal wieder in einen mystischen Ort verwandelt haben. Zur Veranschaulichung: Selbst ein Teil unserer Freunde musste über 2h in der Gästelistenschlange warten und hat so leider den Anfang unseres Sets verpasst 😓😓. Das könnt ihr jetzt auf Soundcloud nachhören (Ggf. geht auch noch unsere Zugabe online 😉 ).

Wie bereits vorprogrammiert war die Nacht legendär und nicht zuletzt emotional. Wir sind nach wie vor zutiefst gerührt und geehrt, dass wir unseren Beitrag dazu leisten durften. Danke Dir, Jacob für dein Vertrauen, uns Frischlingen diesen Closing Slot zu geben. Dieses Gefühl, so viele Menschen auf eine musikalische Reise mitnehmen zu dürfen und irgendwann gefühlt Eins mit dem Publikum zu sein, ist wirklich unbeschreiblich schön und etwas, was wir vor dem Auflegen noch nie erfahren haben. Unsere Rührung wurde umso großer durch die ganzen lieben Worte und Gesten, die wir während und nach dem Set bekommen haben. Angeblich waren im letzten Teil des Sets nicht nur bei uns Tränen im Spiel, was wir nicht zu träumen gewagt hätten. 
 
In diesem Sinne Danke an euch Mystic Creatures für eure wunderbaren Feste, an das Mensch Meier für diesen wundervollen Ort und alle Anwesenden für ihre Energie.

Kay Barton, originally from northern Germany, developed a passion for electronic music at a young age and taught himself the basics using simple DOS software. 

After relocating to the Heidelberg area in 1997, Kay delved into the world of DJing. Throughout the years, he has performed at renowned clubs and festivals both nationally and internationally. Additionally, he has played for various German and Austrian radio stations. Setting himself apart as not just a DJ but also an event organiser, Kay has curated electronic music events in the Rhine-Main area, with the popular 'The Place To Be' series being a notable example.

He initially experimented with different artist names and musical styles. However, in 2016, he made a deliberate shift towards pure techno music while using his real name. That same year, he made his debut with the release of his single 'Return 01' on the Belgian record label Bonzai, followed by remixes on Emerald & Doreen Records. Notably, his EP 'MacroGod' was released in 2019, featuring remixes by Dr Motte and Mijk van Dijk. Kay released music on various record labels, including Neuhain and Ballroom in Berlin, before finally signing with Trapez Records (Traum Schallplatten) in Cologne in 2020. In 2021, he moved to Vienna, Austria and continued to make a name for himself, releasing his first EP on IAMT, Spain in 2022, and collaborating with renowned artists like Tom Wax, Ross Harper, Mijk van Dijk and Tomorrowland artist YULI ANA.

In addition to his DJ and producing work, Kay also ventured into radio hosting. From 2020 to 2024, he has been hosting two monthly house and techno mix shows called 'Wiener Wohnzimmer' (formerly known as
'Heidelberger Wohnzimmer') and 'Sophisticated Rhythms' on Evosonic Radio, Germany's first station dedicated solely to electronic music. 

In 2023 along with his wife Evi he established the event platform 'TRENDWÆNDE'. They organised the “Save The Planet” float at the Rave The Planet Parade in Berlin, collaborating with three promoters and label operators.
The following year, TRENDWÆNDE organised several techno events in Vienna and Berlin, including a collaboration with Ukraine's largest rave series, Laboratorium, for the “Play Techno - Stop Wars” float at the Rave The Planet Parade. Shortly afterwards, ‘CONNÆKT.’ was launched, a new, regular event series organised by TRENDWÆNDE, in which they bring together local and international representatives of sophisticated techno, such as the internationally renowned techno artists Alan Oldham (DJ T-1000, BPitch/Tresor), BB Deng (Ego Riot Rec.) or SAYTEK LIVE (Awesome Soundwave, Cod3 QR, Raw Industries Berlin).

Billie Jean (35 Grad Rec.) started dj-ing in 2009 to add some more female power to the Viennese club scene. Her style is located between Deep House, Progressive House and Techno - she plays a crisp sound which is danceable and dynamic. Constantly experimenting with different genres and influences such as Minimal Tech or Tech House, Billie is known for her bass-heavy beats combined with soulful melodies. 

The crowd really appreciates her passionate sound and her ability to spread great atmosphere. Therefore Billie was quickly discovered by the crew of Cosmic Space Disco, a famous Austrian event series, and could establish herself further on. Meanwhile she performs regularly well-known Viennese clubs like Flex, WUK, Grelle Forelle, Sass or Pratersauna. One of her personal highlights so far was a crazy night at the famous KaterHolzig in Berlin - recently she plays increasingly in other European Cities.

In 2013 Billie joined the record label "35 Grad", where she also organized events. Today, Billie is a member of the collectives "Alles Banane" and "Oh schon hell" - besides she's often invited by other crews and event series in Vienna. Her aim is to present exciting and fresh sound to her audience - let's move & dance forward.

In addition to her DJ work, Billie is strongly committed to climate activism, she works for the "Klimavolksbegehren" and is a member of "Artists for Future" and "Music Declares Emergency".

Kay-S is a Visual Artist, Producer, and DJ based out of Tampa Bay, Florida. Over his nearly two-decade involvement in the Drum & Bass scene in Tampa, his penchant for blending the dark-and-heavy with melodic and ethereal, along with his relentless quest to dig deep for new and interesting sounds, has made him a consistently refreshing presence. Kay-S is a resident DJ, Designer and Promoter for A Night of Drum & Bass Tampa Bay (ANODNB), which is currently celebrating its 8th year of events in the Tampa Bay area. He is also a co-founder, DJ, and artist of the lauded Refuge Nights St. Petersburg, Florida; a monthly Drum & Bass and Jungle night focusing on the deeper end of of the genre as an authentic, thoughtfully curated, music-centric rave experience.

Edition Hawara is a record label run by three friends and music lovers from Vienna. We re-issue long-forgotten jazz and soul from Austria. Music from the past that sounds like the future.

Erfahrung:
1999 begann alles in Überlingen am Bodensee im phat!-Club von Peter Kaufmann. Der Second Floor war ein gemütlich eingerichtetes „Wohnzimmer“ mit Sofas und Tapete an der Wand und einem hervorragendem Soundsystem. Die Partys hier waren in einem entspannten und freundschaftlichen Rahmen. Es folgten Gigs im Tempel in Radolfzell, dem damals wohl innovativsten Club am Bodensee. Hier spielten auch viele der DJs die ihn nachhaltig prägten und motivierten. Dies war der Startschuss für eine wundervolle Reise, die ihn bisher an viele Orte geführt hat. Z.B. diverse Clubs am Bodensee, wo er im Dome in Lindau lange Zeit Resident war. Oder im Rauch Club in Feldkirch (A), als er Teil der Kombo „Funk Foundation“ war. Zu erwähnen ist auch die Teilnahme an drei Snowzones (F), wo unter anderem der Gletscher in Les Deux Alpes bespielt wurde. Nicht zu vergessen diverse Partys, die er zusammen mit einem Freund organisierte und dort das Warm Up für die Headliner wie Terrence Parker, Jamie Lewis, Ata,… übernahm. Unterbrochen wurde die Auflegerei durch zwei Babypausen, um danach nur noch motivierter zurückzukommen. Alle Geschichten zu erzählen würde zu lange dauern. Eigene Motivation:
Im derzeitigen Wirrwarr der ganzen elektronischen Musik und der unterschiedlichen Auffassungen von House, möchte er den, für seine Begriffe, klassischen House wieder aufleben und zelebrieren lassen. Er glaubt fest daran, dass soulful Music dem Dancefloor ein breites Grinsen, Zufriedenheit und ausgelassene Stimmung bescheren kann.

INAYA is a Drum and Bass DJ based in Vienna, Austria and started her journey into mixing in 2020. 
Initially drawn to deep sounds, her musical journey has since evolved to include a wider range of subgenres. Now, she focuses primarily on blending vibrant Dancefloor vibes with dark and driving Neurofunk, delivering sets that are bold, dynamic, and high-energy.

INAYA has played prominent Viennese venues like Flex, Arena and Praterdome and had her first international appearances in Slovakia and Czech Republic. She’s had the honor of sharing the stage with esteemed artists like Camo & Krooked, A.M.C., Dimension, Bou, Hedex, and many more. 

Currently she’s a resident DJ at Perspective in Vienna and a member of the upper Austrian crew Drumfabrik.

Berlin based Vietnamese DJ/Producer and label owner Nhan Solo set off on his mission for dominance of contemporary House music scene in 2012. 
His enterprise Mother Recordings has provided the perfect haven for him and like-minded musicians, a healthy bunch of friends and creative heads to showcase their talents. 
Nhan Solo´s personal musical output can or will be found on labels such as Solomon´s 2DIY4, legendary New York´s Nervous Records and of course Mother Recordings. His tracks also have been remixed by respectable members of the scene like Monkey Safari, Ian Pooley, Oliver Dollar, Yolanda Be Cool, Spencer Parker, Adriatique - just to name a few.
Nhan Solo continued his upward rise through the industry with high profile collaborations – New York Hip Hop legend Kurtis Blow, the amazing Los Angeles based singer Cari Golden and UK most respectable songwriter Jem Cooke! To date with 3 Beatport #1 and 1 Overall #1 Hits, it is clear that this power label is here for the long-term! Mother Recordings is Beatport Breakthrough Label in 2015 and Beatport Label House #2 of 2017.
In 2018 Nhan Solo is pleased to announce his brand-new sister label Superfett Records that will bring a slightly different sound to the world, 100% functional, club weapons that is full-on and physical. 

The following year his DJ career took off in a big way with European gigs with almost weekly occurrence, sold out North-, South American and Australian tours on his agenda. With flourishing number of super packed-filled Mother Showcases over 2019 including Amsterdam Dance Event, Sonar, The BPM Festival & DJ MAG London.

2020 Nhan Solo joins forces with Radius Artists world wide to share his vision and love for quality House music with the people on the dance floor!
