I used three N163 channels for the "guitar" sound, then ran them through an amp simulator in my DAW, so no, this isn't purely FamiTracker, but I made the song fully in FamiTracker before adding the stereo effects. I hope you enjoy it.

Finally got around to making "ver.B"

This time around, I wrote this in FamiTracker, a module editor that emulates the sound hardware of the Nintendo FamiCom and synthesizes the voice channels more faithfully. I was still able to stay within the limits of the system's hardware but still expand polyphony, thanks to MMC5, which simply adds two more square-wave voice channels.

BOOMER KUWANGER - Megaman X (Cover / Remake)

This was my first attempt at playing with FamiTracker's VRC7 chipset emulation. While there were limitations in the chipset's polyphony, the sound came out all right. Unfortunately, the chipset wasn't able to pump out much in the low-end frequencies, so I boosted the bass after I converted the file from FTM to MP3.

A remix I made in FamiTracker of the stage 3-1 theme from Super Turrican for Super Nintendo. It's also the stage 3-3 theme from Mega Turrican for Sega Genesis. I pulled the individual tracks out of FamiTracker into my DAW so I could add stereo. 
I used 0CC FamiTracker so I could use multiple expansion chips, in this case Namco N163 and Konami VRC7. That's become my preferred setup.
