Calm instrumental inspired by the beauty in Nordic winter. As Finland, where I live, is on the Arctic Circle the winter is dark time. It can drive one into a melancholy mood. But through melancholy there is beauty and that is what this song "Arctic" portraits.

This is a piece about contrasts in nature - dark and light, yin and yang, good and bad. I wanted to convey that we are emotionally complex beings and never only one side of the pole. We have the potential for opposites in all things. I feel like this message can get lost in our culture. If we learn to embrace our shadow I believe it will give us power and insight.
