That´s a quite long name but a quite simple story behind!

Maybe you´ve noticed, that this is the remix I did for Marlose, which appeared on Ostwind beginning of 2013. Noir was a big fan of the track and some weeks later he told me, that he did a mashup of my remix, just adding these huge vocals to it... and here it goes, this is finally a big club smasher. All of you guys, who heard me playing the last months: I ALWAYS play this track in EVERY set because it´s just a big boom!

We have waited a long time for this debut. With the decoupling single “Behind the Curtain,” from the compilation series “Kaleidoskop,” the DJ and producer duo “Kotelett & Zadak” presents itself together with Bar25 Music. The title track “Behind the Curtain” captivates with its recurring melodic chords and succinct sub-basses. While the second track “Switch Off” builds up slowly with discreet vocal elements and then develops its driving character, “Harissa,” the final track, is trippy and contrasting in comparison. Up to the middle, “Harissa” presents itself in a twisted agility and is then intercepted by an intuitive clap.

Happy Camper Records pays homage to the often hectic lifestyles of DJs and producers. Its trio of managers, Unders, Noraj Cue and Britta Arnold, have even dubbed these “bohemians of the 21st Century!” Fondly referred to as “Happy Campers,” they supply each new release with ample spontaneity. As the label now debuts on Proton, it welcomes Mike Ravelli to the roster. Thoroughly road-tested for over a year, “Nest” has dismantled dancefloors from Amsterdam to Beijing. Remixing the title track, Britta truly embodies the nomadic spirit. The born-and-bred Berliner once lived in a caravan on the grounds of Bar 25. Her "creeping hats, hypnotic beats and pops of acid” thus consume the original mix.

After two successful free downloads on deep stories, we are happy to present the talented producer Shahin on Deep Stories Records. His EP ‘5 Years’ gives a diverse sound that lets you dream and makes you want to dance. The first track is ‘Everest’ and shows the direction of the EP - upwards. The bassline frames the melody und guides us up the first meter, until we break through the clouds with ‘Through Clouds and Dust’ and feel the sun on our skin. This track, with its quiet sound will make you stop for a while and enjoy the moment. After a short moment of quiet, the intensive claps and the sawtooth wave will guide you to the climax. The more we climb, the more our heartbeat accelerates until pure energy shoots through our body and we see a mysterious creature on the top of the hill. Those energetic feelings are picked up by the track ‘The Caveman’ and the driving bassline forms the end of this brilliant EP.
