BR013 Dario Gismondi - Atlantis EP

Black Rose's thirteen EP comes from emerging talent Dario Gismondi, and is truly a melodic masterpiece. He provided four great originals and we're sure they'll hit you on first listen.
The first track is the title track of the EP and is called “Atlantis”.
it is a journey that begins with an hypnotic arp and a solid bass line, and then continue with ethereal breaks that precede explosions of enerygies and melodies.
Second one is “Kraken” and carries a darker mood. This track combines heavy kick and techno drums with strong and very well designed synths and all works towards one impressive moment, where it all bursts apart.
The next song is “Oblio” and represents the perfect balance of the style of this EP, bright melodies and decisive rhythms take you on a mystical and pleasant journey.
The final track of this collection is “Shadows In The Dark” a real gem. It starts with a progressive intro and then comes the main synth witch is a rare example of original sound design.
This piece of music gives an impactful ending to the “Atlantis” EP.

Following the albums "Lessons In Dub" (2012) and "Kontrollverlust" (2017) Leipzig based DJ and producer Marc DePulse now presents his 3rd artist album: Together Alone

The album title reflects the global sentiments surrounding the last two years while being confined indoors. It plays with the opposites of togetherness and aloneness. Being socially distanced during lockdown at home while all together stuck in the same situation individual aloneness was experienced as a collectively felt togetherness.

Therefore the idea behind Together Alone was engaging highly respected artists and friends from all over the planet for a collaborative project which Marc DePulse describes as "a colored box full of high-quality standards and with a lot of great stories inside".

Woven between the intro "Allein" (eng. alone) and the outro "Zusammen" (eng. together) the album captures stories of collectively felt emotions elicited by the pandemic.

The 13 tracks by 12 different artists highlight that despite all hardships we are never alone. This phenomena is represented by track 8 called ZIMWA, derived from the German sentence "Zusammen ist man weniger allein" (eng. Together you are less alone).

For the collaborative LP the artists got virtually together into the studio with Marc DePulse, exchanging stems, sharing parts, making video calls, chatting – simply doing things that were possible during the lockdown period.

Together Alone contains music from club to Easy Listening, from EBM to Breaks, from Pop to Tech – music to remember and heartfelt messages that will not be forgotten so fast.

We're all in this together. Not alone.

AIWASKA is the secretive alter ego of a very well-known, festival-familiar, Russian producer. Located in Los Angeles, his project has received big support from the Burning Man community and Damian Lazarus — who is set to release some of his music via Crosstown Rebels. Performing his live + guitar and DJ sets (and videos) in a feathered black outfit, Stetson-style hat and slightly scary mask, he shrouds his identity in a fitting level of mystique to match his enigmatic, brooding sounds.

‘Medicine’ is another beautiful track to emerge from this much-talked-about project, finding its home on Exploited Ghetto. A nagging synth arpeggio rising from depths of chunky-yet-spacious, chugging beat. Hovering bass tones soon arrive to bolster this dark melody, teeing up the gentle, yearning male vocal that forms the core of the track.

Somewhere a spinning coin creates a resonant metallic buzz. A sword is drawn in the distance, drenched in reverb. Shimmering splashes of wet synth and slow-rising pulses of pads, forming a loose musical conversation between four disparate parts.. Less is more when it comes to this hypnotic arrangement. The breakdown takes things down to a near-ambient level of unhurriedness, creating the requisite tension and release for the drop. Many producers would do well to learn from the great sense of space in this wonderous track.

The video for ‘Medicine’ features Russian Model Alesya Kafelnikova — the daughter of former world number 1 Russian tennis player Yevgeny Kafelnikova. It’s just another bizarre twist in the wonderful world of AIWASKA, where not all is as it seems...

Release Info: 
For its 22nd EP, Infinite Depth is welcoming the French Nohak on the label. The EP consists out of five impressive originals, with 'Nebula' as title track. The collection of tracks can be recognized by its darker progressive ambience with now and then trancy influences.

The first track, called 'Omega', already shows particular elements which are characteristic for Nohak's sound, which he presents through this EP. During the track there is a constant dance going on between unexpected high pitched synth, female vocal shots and raw synths. A dance that starts at the beginning of the track and flows over into the next one.

This next track is the title track 'Nebula'. In this one the hypnotizing trance influenced elements are developing throughout the first half of the track, giving you a harmonious feeling. Right at the drop this developments gets stopped by short synths and details, all communicating with each other. While this communication is going on, the hypnotizing elements are coming back, bringing the track to a peaceful end.

The third track is called 'Ixion' and carries a darker mood. The tracks has an ongoing flow with well balanced components, which are corresponding each other. This rolls you unnoticed into the first break, giving you a refreshing, but uplifting moment in between this ongoing flow. After this moment heavier elements are striking and descending towards the end of the track.

'Ophiuchus' is representing the darker side of the EP. Its gloomy bass and imposing synths are perfectly combined with higher and hopeful aspects. This combinations all works towards one impressive moment, where it all bursts apart.

The final track of the EP 'Book Of Universe', is stepping up the groove and covers the most important elements mentioned before into one track. Also Nohak managed to add some more interesting tricks, which all together form a composition that could be seen as a perfect summary of the full EP.
