"Audio KoDe's latest release on De-Noize Records, "Time Machine," is a two-track techno EP that showcases the artist's masterful production skills. The title track, "Time Machine " features a deep and thumping bassline, complemented by hypnotic synths and subtle sound work. Next up on Stil vor Talent is production outfit Space Food, all set at getting the vibes pouring and hips swaying with their newest, 'Odyssey' EP. Cutting a path of abstract-leaning elation and forthright danciness, the St Petersburg-based pair has us covered with four-tracks spanning a wide range of styles and tropes, seamlessly connecting the dots betwixt zero-G bass manoeuvres, sensually overwhelming prog build-ups and a sheer touch of quirky and immersive otherworldliness. 

Fusing the ubiquitous horsepower of thunderous subs with the narrative edge of the finest deep-house epics, 'Epsilone' gets the ball rolling with outstanding rhythmic verve and transfixing flamboyance, as it eases us in a suspended headspace, halfway utter euphoria and melancholy-drenched atmospherics. An earwormy Italo racer, 'Hope' trades the opener's breaksiness for upfront fast-lane-ready, floor-it attitude. A trouble-brewing combo of steely oddity and synth-splashed ebullience, this one packs a serious punch and some indomitable floor-destroying FX.

A bespoke roller-coaster of a tune, 'Metamorphosis' attacks pedal to the metal and doesn't relent throughout seven minutes of an assertive shelling of hi-intensity bass moves and 16-bit-like machine funk bound to crush everything in its wake. Final number and title-track 'Odyssey' comes as a culmination of Space Food's bumpy riding, trance-inflected style, delivering the kind of fun and focussed club voodoo you can't stay cold to. Geared up for big-room traction and cinematic synchronisation, this is club music at its most strikingly boisterous and enveloping, high-powered yet euphonic.

As the A2 offering on Erwin’s Ceylon EP - the second release on his boutique imprint Arepas Records - “Coconut Sambal” stands out as one of the EP’s most emotive and immersive dishes. While the label continues its culinary-inspired storytelling and collectible artwork concept, the music itself remains the true flavour carrier. And here, Erwin cooks up something deep, melodic, and quietly intoxicating.

“Coconut Sambal” drifts in on a warm, padded groove, immediately setting a dreamy tone while keeping one foot firmly in the dancefloor. The percussion stays understated yet precise, leaving space for the track’s defining elements to unfold: glowing synth lines that ebb and flow like slow waves, hints of Acid that curl around the edges without overpowering, and soft vocal phrases that add a human, almost meditative tenderness.

This blend - Deep House foundations, melodic sensitivity, light Acid breath, and vocal warmth - creates a piece that feels both introspective and inviting.
