"Uranus 51" is the intro track of my album "Kontrollverlust" which will be released on Einmusika Recordings on 20th Nov 2017 and here´s the story behind: 

Every beginning has something specific. When I started working on this track it was a 124 bpm Tech-House idea with this arp in the background. By creating the line I suddenly had some scenes from my childhood in my mind. The melody and the synth-sound is kind of 1980's style, maybe that's the reason (because I grew up this time). Maybe also I have heard this melody on the TV, in the radio or somewhere else before. But you probably know exactly what I mean when you see, hear or smell something familiar and you feel beamed back a decades ago.

Later I slowed down the track which is on 96 bpm now. No beats, just some off/mood stuff. Hope you enjoy it!

P.S.: Uranus(str.) 51 in Leipzig was the address of that "DDR Plattenbau" flat where I grew up.
