Apparu en 1993 avec le titre "Notre Mystère, Nos Retrouvailles", Marc Morgan sort son quatrième album solo ("Beaucoup Vite Loin") en 2011 sur le label belge Freaksville Records dont il est une des chevilles ouvrières. Il produit et présente le podcast mensuel "Hobby" sur Radio Rectangle.

Belgian singer-songwriter, most well known in France for songs such as "Notre Mystère, Nos Retrouvailles (a Top 50 hit in 1993), "Un Ami Qui Vous Veut Du Bien", "Au Train Où Vont Les Choses" or "Capable De Tout". Back on stage in 2011 with his fourth album "Beaucoup Vite Loin" (Freaksville Record), Marc is also a producer, directing and programming the monthly podcast "Hobby" on Radio Rectangle.

Nourished on the creative fury of Punk and the instinctive freedom of Rock ‘N Roll (in 1977 he started one of the first punk fanzines: Teenage Head), he discovered a black and white movie by Otto Preminger in 1979 and reinvented himself as Marc Dixon to take hold of the thread of his artistic tale. After about a hundred concerts with the Junkies and the Menteurs, he released a few singles produced by Mirwais (Taxi Girl, Madonna) in the 80’s.

After a long ride through the effervescence of independent radio, he started at the young channel Canal+ in Belgium as a musical consultant before creating the musical broadcast "Fast Forward". Those weekly 26 minutes left their durable mark on the audiovisual landscape, while Marc was also co-founding Karma-Production, realising and producing a series of documentaries (Arno, Comme Les Hommes; Susana Baca, Memoria Viva; Stephan Eicher, Taxi Europa, Miam Monster Miam…), live captures (Iggy Pop Live at Avenue B, Massive Attack, Faithless, Placebo, Girls in Hawaii, Ghinzu…) or music videos (Sharko, My Little Cheap Dictaphone, Jeronimo, Marie Warnant…). Also a photographer, this man of image immersed in music returned to his first love to write his ideal sound track, sharing with us the complexity and richness of his world.

In 2009, Marc Dixon let his bilingual story-telling drift with the sound of abrasive guitars on rough digital foundations questioning solitude, love and sex in search of an improbable Zen balance. The tense rhythm, the accepted urge and sensuality slide here on the skin like a blunt caress to invent the Dixon Jive, an odd dance for the night and for beaten up souls. It was Maledixon, more of a rebirth album than a come back.

Today, Marc releases “JSNB” - “Jours Sombres Nuits Blanches” (Dark Days Sleepless Nights). An album both solar and lunar, it rejoices in eclipses. 
"JSNB" features 11 songs resonating with the blues as his deep voice plays with light and darkness of life's shadows and highlights, evoking a sense of seeking, of journeying through despair and solitary contemplation, of departures, without losing that kernal of hope that keeps the flame burning, even in the darkest of places.
