Canadian based Heymac (Co-founder of Umbral Sound System & resident photographer at Helon Photography)is continuing to make his mark on the DnB community. His music focuses heavily on ethereal atmospheres combined with the emotional orchestral elements.  

His debut release "Eye of Light" on RAM Record's ProgRAM imprint was followed by several releases on UK based Bay 6 Recordings and 2021 saw Heymac self-releasing several songs such as “Hamartia” which have gained support among a number of artists in the Drum and Bass community. You can hear a handful of Heymac originals throughout the first half of the mix.

I originally made this remix to play in my DJ sets across Sydney, but once it blew up on Tik Tok it only made sense to release it as soon as possible!

This track is a peak 80s hit and I have brought it back (39 years later) into 2023 with the KVISION touch.

Some of the first few sounds I created with the System-1. I find it very easy to program. Everything sounds quite nice. I wouldn't say it's as "creamy" sounding as my Korg R3. All of these sounds are from the default "System-1" virtual analog setting: I don't have any "plug-outs" yet.

It is very predictable, but in a good way: you know you'll get the sound you want from a certain knob position.

Canadian born producer, DJ and live act Rhys Fulber steps up for this week's Global Vibe Radio mix.

Fulber is widely known in electronic music circles for his EBM trailblazing with Front Line Assembly, chart-topping with Delerium, and dramatic melodies with Conjure One. Additionally holding a grey cardinal status in metal and a variety of other genres, Fulber is a respected producer who's discography and work speaks for itself. 

After some solo modular synthesizer jam sessions found its way to Adam X and his Sonic Groove imprint, Fulber now opens a new chapter, sculpting both intricate and hard-hitting music best described as "Future EBM".
