Scandi-lous! We’ve got another other-worldly record for you, courtesy of who? Jeku! The man from Helsinki has given us a much-coveted gift, a gift that traverses incredulity yet still thankfully remains harnessed to the human realm. The story that started below the ozone layer has moved to the stratosphere. Transcendence is coming, and boy has he been busy.

Known to Haŵs and now known to you, Jeku has once more imbued his machine army with the power of time-tested inspirators. Mainlining Roland majesty and early 00s prog into his latest brainchild, the Transcendence EP puts paid to the idea of a record as an interdependent piece of club literature, flowing from one to the next and indulging in a timeless chant between two worlds.

No subterfuge, just a guy from the underground with two ears for unparalleled tranceability. No description, just listen and try not to ascend. It can’t be done. It’s Jeku for you.

Rafiki’s debut EP release The Source takes three decades of UK rave heritage — hardcore, breaks, house, garage and bass music — and throws it into the pot with the producer’s own Indian heritage, then gives it a healthy stir. Rafiki is the alter ego of Sohail Arora — a pioneering figure in the Indian music industry, who significantly shapes club culture as the founder of Krunk and Krunk Kulture.

“Amor i Ritme” is the music of solidarity: 27 artists united in a single beat. A release that travels through different sounds and styles from ambient and house to industrial EBM, techno and acid in solidarity with one of the most emblematic places of the electronic music scene in Spain. The compilation features contributions from Andy Butler of American group Hercules and Love Affair feat Intuit Dazey, Belgrade-based producer and disc-jockey Lipelis, Periodica Records affiliate Whodamanny, and Madrid-via-Chile DJ-producer Fernanda Arrau alongside Multi Culti producer Balam, who join names from across the Spanish electronic scene such as Pau Roca, ALVVA, Jaisiel and Barcelona duo People You May Know, formed by Phran and Ylia, GAZZI, among others.

All proceeds will be split 50/50 between two charities who are helping to raise money for those affected and to rebuild communities that have been devastated: Aldis Paiporta, which helps people with disabilities who have lost everything, and the Horta SuD Foundation, which works with civil society to stimulate and strengthen the social fabric in the Valencian Community, with special attention given to programmes developed in the region of Horta Sud (Valencia).

We would like to give special thanks to each of the artists who have joined the initiative and to those who have not been able to but have supported us.

Lerosa (Uzuri, Idle Hands, Lunar Disko) adds to his esteemed discography with an EP composed entirely during the summer of 2020. Several of his musical influences – I.M.S., Lee 'Scratch' Perry, James Stinson – can be heard across these four diverse tracks, as he jumps nimbly from italo to dub to house to electro. As always with Lerosa, though, the sound that emerges is distinctively his own, the result of daily cat-assisted studio time at his home in Dublin.
