Episode 016 is here and this time we have the multi-talented and beautiful Juliet. Since an early age, the music of many genres have delighted and inspired her, often opening doors to the inner world of dreams in which everything was possible. She dived massively into the electronic music scene in mid-90s Berlin and since then caught the bug to DJ. 

After a long break and developing her own projects and events in the theatre world, Juliet is back with huge residencies across Berlin and Germany with her own solid groove mixed between deep, tech, house and techno and frequenting well-known venues such as Ritter Butzke, Golden Gate, Burg Schnabel, Magdalena Club, Feel Festival, ZZW Festival and many more. This episode therefore brings together the sounds that inspire her and the groove that pleases many partygoers across the dance floors of Berlin. Enjoy!

We are proud to announce our next Berlin-Brighton Episode has been compiled by no other than the super talented and crowd favourite Lady Lola. 

Lola is an award winning Brighton based female DJ, a well known name in the LGBT club scene and purveyor of fat, bouncing beats, Lady Lola has been rocking our souls and minds for some years now and is no stranger to transfixing dance floors at 5000 attendees plus with large scale events such as Brighton Pride, smashing closing sets year after in 2015 and 2016. Not only that, Lola also lights up London regularly with headline sets at key venues such as Electric Brixton and 93 East as well as having played at every venue in Brighton such as The Arch, Coalition, Concorde2, Green Door Store, The Volks and many more. To add to her growing roster she has also featured at Ola Girls (Spain), Il Ha Branca Festival (Azores), Benidorm Pride, Amsterdam Pride, London Pride, Summer Rights (Tobacco Dock), As One In the Park (Victoria Park), Fright Festival, DPM not to mention clubs up and down the country and internationally supporting the likes of Route 94, Kellerkind, Pan Pot and Enzo Siffredi.

She is also the co-founder of local club night SIZE. and promotes her own night "Rumour Has It" and co-hosts radio shows on Codesouth.FM and Brap FM. In the last year she has also become a firm Berlin-Brighton resident where she has truly begun to shine and develop her own Berlin tinged sound

Over a 15-year period Truesoul has set the standard for engaging and effective club music, drawing in fans from across the techno spectrum. A relentless dedication to quality means it’s logistically impossible for Adam Beyer to release music from all the impressive artists who send him tracks each year for Truesoul. This EP showcases four such outstanding cuts, all of which have been tried and tested in Beyer’s sets in recent months. Indeed, anyone who witnessed his deliciously groove-ridden daytime set at Sonus Festival in August (or listened via episode DCR370), would have already been treated to an unofficial preview of the release. 

Belgian’s Ramon Tapia kicks the EP off in superb style with ‘Hexagon’, an energetic slice of techno that builds towards a pumping finish. Fast rising Manchester duo OC & Verde team up with Italian producer Veerus for ‘Naaki’, the track highlighted by a rousing call-to-arms vocal that saw it go down a storm during Beyer’s annual gig on the Amnesia Terrace for Cocoon in Ibiza. The beautiful vocal-led ‘Take My Life’ follows courtesy of Spaniard Marc Marzenit, adding an extra dimension to the release, while still having enough percussive fizz to keep the dancefloor moving. Southampton’s Ronnie Spiteri is another emerging talent to create waves in 2017 and he delivers the knockout blow with ‘Sugar Lips’, a chunky soul-infused offering that’ll be effective in house and techno sets alike.

Und es ist ein zeitloser Track entstanden, welcher alles auf den Punkt bringt. Die endlose Passage in der Mitte führt an Ihrem Ende immer und immer wieder zu einer Explosion auf der Tanzfläche. Dieses Lorie Anderson Remake erinnert mich immer wieder an die sehr schöne Zeit im Kit Kat Berlin in der Bessemer Str. morgens um 3.00

On February 2nd, dance music titan Eric Prydz returned to the hallowed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix decks, taking control of the airwaves for two hours of forward-thinking electronic music. This marked Prydz’ return to the Essential Mix show for the first time since late 2011, when it was recorded live from his set at Creamfields. The reaction to the show on Saturday was so big that it got the Essential Mix trending on Twitter on both sides of the Atlantic while it was being aired.

Marc Slope... grew up in a village near the Baltic Sea, until today he lives, loves and works in Wismar not far from his old home.
Founder of the Dj and producer duo MuteEnd and passionate music lover. Always attracted by the special vibes of electronic music 
and events of this scene. Since 2021 on the road with his solo project, he surprises listeners again and again with his carefully composed beats. 
As a music collector who is equally inspired by groovy house tunes to rough techno productions, he knows how to skillfully carry away the listeners and conjure up experiences on the dance floor. 
Releases on labels like Planet Bass, VMF Music and Marvelous Tunes as well as premieres on Evo Sonic Radio are to his credit and are constantly expanded by his commitment as a producer. Marc places himself somewhere between House 
Techhouse and Techno as he likes to break the borders of the genres to create symbioses. His motto therefore seems quite plausible... 
"only Good Vibes House & Techno Music since 2014".
