Norm’s ability to unearth the warmest, sweetest and deepest sounds is unprecedented. The first installment of his residency stole our hearts: a jaw dropping, incredible selection of lush music that we didn’t know we needed to hear. This is my fantasized outtake of what could have been a local fusion jazz program back then. It features biting AOR, hazy Chanson, fierce Boogie, Japanese Bossa impersonation and wistful Italian score.”
