Sonic 3 will always be one of my favorite games! Here are some alternate takes on some of the levels and themes. There will likely be more of these in the future! Some of these are WIPs and not 100% perfect yet, but enjoy nonetheless. :)

Sonic 3 - Alternate

Hundreds of years ago, an ancient civilization stood in Marble Zone. However, they were unaware that magma was rising under their feet, threatening to destroy their history. Meanwhile, the voices of this lost paradise can still be heard.

Marble Zone ~Past [V. 2] (Sonic CD Remix)

What does this city have that rivals places like Stardust Speedway, or Star Light City? Could it be the highways that seem to cross the sky? The stars, which still resist light pollution? The thriving nightlife, perhaps? In any case, none of that will stay if Sonic isn't quick and takes down Eggman.

I suggest an alternative solution to trying to get the rights to use the songs that are currently providing a roadblock in greenlighting the project.

HEY! Have you signed the petition @ http://sonic3remastered.com/ yet???  You should go do that. That's what these are here to raise awareness for. A remake of one of the best games of the 90s and possibly ever! Tell SEGA to make it happen. :D

[Alternate] Theme of Knuckles

This doesn't even NEED an alternate. D: Crap. Oh well. I wanted to make less of a 'tropical party' song and more of a 'Wow! new place, let's explore!' theme here. It's not quantized perfectly, and I'm likely to touch it up later. Consider it a WIP!

Rather than redoing act 1, I decided to finish act 2. I might redo both later. They both have some decent moments, but I think them (and carnival night act 1) could stand to be redone at some point.
