Ever since the German producer known as Claptone got his start just a year ago, he has been awarded artist of the year on the German Trendcharts DCC 2012, and has held his spot on Beatport’s Top 10 Tracks in the deep house category. Niconé, the versatile musician and likeable style-icon: unshaven and latently bleary-eyed, of course, but elegant and – thankfully – modest at the same time. Over the past years, Alexander Gerlach has become synonymous with a certain playful touch and light-hearted attitude that flows through his music and goes hand in hand with a laidback natural tenor. 2011 saw him release the hugely successful ‘Romantic Thrills’ album together with his good friend and constant partner in crime Sascha Breamer. Now, two years later, Niconé is presenting his first solo full-length, ‘Let Love Begin’, on Stil vor Talent. ‚Burnhain’ gives a taste of what’s to follow and is one of two 12“ EP accompanying the album. 

On the A-side, ‚Burnhain’, classic house sounds such as driving high-hats and 90s rave stabs offer a nod to the past, while hitting the zeitgeist. ‘Querido’, which features Sascha Braemer and the newly discovered vocal talent Yvy, initially drops the energy on the B-side before exploding with Mediterranean life, castanets included for good measure. ‘You Are My Best Meowfucker’ then pushes us back into the club as a techy rhythm and repeated vocal hook draw us to the floor. The track’s twist offers itself in the form of a string loop that lends an oriental edge. Spicy and addictive! Let love begin..

Society 3.0 Recordings set out to put together a collection of songs in the form of an excellent 12" Maxi Single / Digital Download release, featuring 6 tracks from a host of talented artists.Marc De Vole & Ray Simon dominate the first half of the record, with their incredible dense sound and awe-inspiring deep house philosophy. Mr. De Vole has been into electronica since the late 90s, and his seasoned experience clearly shows through his track. This is an artist who strives to create focused and punchy tracks, yet retain a very special intuition that add that sought-after "human touch" to his works.Russian artist "Tuneon" dominates track n.3, "Blumarine". The song flirts with 90s disco and house influences, adding some color and texture to the setlist, without straying too far from the mood previously set by Marc De Vole and Ray Simon.The second half of the release features the work of Sergio Parrado and Ernesto Paredano, who set out to collaborate on 3 tracks for this release. These tunes showcase a more modern and European approach to the sound. On "Mamey" and "Krill", the pair showcase an interesting approach to percussiveness, creating intricate and dense rhythmic pattern that truly drive the songs. Closing number "Tempranillo" embodies the spirit of classic deep house and tech, serving as a perfect closing number for such an exciting and diverse release.

Long Shot Poems For Broke Players is an uplifting and groovy house track with a hint of Moff & Tarkin trademark production along with some input from his friend Elias Thorsson. Along with the original Viktor Birgiss presents us with a remix of the track that has a different approach which makes the relase in our opinion, more versatile.

Talking To Myself adds to the diversity of the release and is more of the late night groover that will make us dance and forget.

Lagaffe Tales continues the tradition to release Icelandic deep house music but releases featuring artists abroad is on schedule in the next months.

Der Sommer ist endlich da und ich hab für Euch ein paar schöne Nummern für selbigen in einen Mix gebracht.. ☼ ♫ ♪

Euch erwartet mit diesem Set eine bunte Mischung aus fluffigen Songs, modernisierten Klassikern und feinen Edits meiner geschätzten Kollegen.. Für mich klingt das hier alles nach ner feinen Brise Sommer, Sonne & Strand, aber eure Meinung würde mich natürlich wie immer sehr interessieren ! ☺

Haut also alles an Feedback rein, was Euch in den Sinn kommt und lasst mich daran teilhaben.. Wer Fragen zu gewissen Songs hat, stellt diese bitte einfach an der jeweiligen Stelle und ich werde die dann schleunigst beantworten.. Also dann..
