Sahar Khamenei alias SAHAR is a dynamic DJ, producer, and singer/songwriter. Her sound reaching from melodic techno, melodic house drum&bass and electro rock is as diverse as her life journey, seamlessly blending genres like. She is also the name behind the electrifying electro rock music project, SAHAR and the Drum&Bass Collaboration EUPHORIA, both together with her music and label partner Sebastian aka Homebass aka Plastic Child.
Born amidst the post-revolutionary turbulence of Tehran, Sahar’s childhood took a dramatic turn when her family fled to find safety. She grew up in vibrant cities like Paris, Berlin, Seattle, and now calls Hamburg home, where her passion for electronic music flourished alongside her design studies.
Sahar's musical roots lie in rock, shaped by early piano and guitar lessons and inspired by the electronic avant-garde. In 2005, she teamed up with DJ and producer Sebastian Scheytt, and together they founded the label Destination Rec., releasing a plethora of innovative tracks that capture their shared creative energy.
In addition to their global DJ sets, Sahar and Sebastian explore new musical landscapes under various aliases, including the drum & bass collaboration EUPHORIA, continually pushing the boundaries of their creative expression. 
Since 2010, the SAHAR project has evolved, merging electro beats, rock guitar riffs, and pop-infused vocals to create a fresh electronic sound.
