July 2021, written quite quickly, I’d taken a picture of the blue house and wanted to write a song with that title, simple as that!  Listen with headphones.

Helen said it reminded her of the frenetic ebb and flow in the final mating flight of mayflies as they battle against time to find a mate and complete their lifecycle within a few short hours of emerging from the water.
