Man, I've seen a ton of songs about goth girls on soundcloud, but this is the first one I've found that actually *sounds* goth. I love the humor in the lyrics, too.

I wrote this song when I was very down, I wrote my own instructions on how to pull oneself out of the hole and gain from the experience to make oneself better and coping with tests,and they get harder as we get older.Peace :-)

The barber shop looks empty.
Only one in the queue before me, i'm going to risk it.
Hair now below my ears and in the recent strong winds it wafts and flaps around my head.
I was happy to wait 45 minutes. No magazines.
My barber didn't recognise me.
It's been 8 months.
Has it been that long?
Yes the weather has been bad recently.
Though we did have good weather during lockdown.
I was happy to pay my £10 and walk out feeling strangely light headed.

Prolific musician, author, photographer and oddity.  With influences ranging from the lofi pop of Guided by Voices, the gothic melodrama of Nick Cave, the glam of Bowie and the nakedness of Iggy Pop - this is Marc Freak.  Former frontman of Freak Circus and Dead Joe.  An experiment in DIY and lofi.  The odd bum note here, the even odder bum note there.  But with art do we care?
