Prolific musician, author, photographer and oddity.  With influences ranging from the lofi pop of Guided by Voices, the gothic melodrama of Nick Cave, the glam of Bowie and the nakedness of Iggy Pop - this is Marc Freak.  Former frontman of Freak Circus and Dead Joe.  An experiment in DIY and lofi.  The odd bum note here, the even odder bum note there.  But with art do we care?

Modern Dolls are a band and studio recording project engineered by Ryan Charles and Loudflower Recordings. Ryan has been in a few Texas bands and recording projects and has enjoyed getting back into the studio with the Dolls to write and record original rock music.

Inspired by 90s Britpop, 60s Psychedelia, shoegaze, alternative and indie rock, Modern Dolls create original music with heavy, layered guitars and prominent vocals, but at its core "has the soul of a garage band.”
