I pulled out my Fox Oboe and tried to play for a bit.  Then I hear the door "Knocks,"  "Hard Knocks."  It's the kids, and then there is life.  Pleasant distractions and speed bumps to get over. So many thoughts were knocking on every door.  Thoughts not "THOTS!"  So I decided to record everything and create a track.

Yes, I play OBOE and let the jokes begin.  However,  the oboe payed the bills. A very expressive instrument and I am playing it in this production of what I am going to call "A Hard Knock Life for You" since fate is now knocking at the door of those who have done bad things in the dark and it is coming to light.  I have yet to lose sleep. Really! The "light" is expressed in the cheerfulness of my oboe and this production after a musical reflection of what went on in my mind for some time during the music process.  Then the beat drops. Really!

I have always been asked what inspires me to write or where do I get the motivation from. I have been even been asked if I can practice or write through distraction.  How can one practice or write with so much chaos and noise from life?  I figured I would try to express and record what was in my head at some of those moments recently with my oboe in hand and kids knocking wanting your undivided attention.  

LAME you say!  THWY! No one can take away or stop the music.  They tried, and continue to fail.
