A country as deeply entrenched in techno as Germany may seem like an unlikely place
for one of house music’s fastest rising stars.
However as Marcimo will tell you, there’s so much more to German dance music than
techno. It is about the house music!
Marcimo is based in Hannover and since his beginning of his DJ career in 2004 he is
known for his unique, magnificant and distinctive sound.
For those who don’t know that – check his monthly podcast and fall in love with his
sound. They combine house and electro with the power of vocals. All in all his podcasts
are a journey to happiness. As well Marcimo has already collaborated with Cosmo Klein
and Jerique Allen just to name a few.
In shortest time he gained worldwide acclaim. In conclusion to that it was not a surprise
that Marcimo impressed the promoters in the club scene and become established
quickly.
With his unmistakable pushing sound, he animates and excites every party crowd. His
DJ sets are every bit as dynamic and body moving as his crispy clean production. With a
clear understanding of how to tell a story through music, Marcimo continues to drop the
heat. His appearances on We Play, RUNDEEP Support and San Trincha Music have
only solidified his immense skills behind the decks. As result, Marcimo has fostered a
sense of electronical, progressive vocal house style, which strikes a positive atmosphere
everywhere he plays.
According to his numerous appearances in the most exclusive clubs in Germany like
Nachtresidenz in Dusseldorf, Felix in Berlin, Velvet in Frankfurt or Indochine in Hamburg,
Marcimo has proven his skills in the best house clubs in Germany.
But djing was not enough for the talented german. Immediately he decided to start
producing in 2012. Marcimo and Kid Chris teamed up and released the EP “Stardust” on
the label “WE PLAY”.
2012 should be Marcimos biggest year. The single stardust was chosen for lots of
compilations like "MTV Ibiza 2012", "VIVA Club Rotation Vol 52", "In Touch with Ibiza
Vol 5" and "Countdown to Ibiza 2012".
In June 2012 Marcimo mixed the popular Compilation "Essential Club House - The
Summer Collection 2012". This one was previously mixed by artists like Tim Royko and
the Stafford Brothers.
After the year 2012 he decided to make a short break to find his completely own style.
As result he was back in 2015 and remixed “Punch” for Shut up! and Holger Schulz on
the label Pyro Records. This song was literally a banger. In 2016 Marcimo had a few
more relases like “Oxymora” on San Trincha Music and “Time” on RUNDEEP Support
by Swanky Tunes.
But that’s not all, the biggest thing is yet to come in Summer 2019. Don’t sleep on
Marcimo, this is only the beginning.
