Fading Screams ist ein Echo verlorener Stimmen, ein Klangbild von Vergänglichkeit und unerreichbarer Erinnerung.

🇬🇧 English:
A minimalist piano piece slowly fading into silence. The melody drifts gently, while faint screams linger in the background—distant, almost intangible, until they finally disappear. Fading Screams is an echo of lost voices, a soundscape of transience and unreachable memories.

I do not expect anyone to understand this piece. I am not sure I understand it myself. I consider this one of my best pieces....more specifically, I like the idea. The fact the piece is likely to sink without trace has no discernible bearing on my affinity for the idea behind it.

Old Ideas from Old Email


To my surprise, I found some of my old music ideas in my old email account. I thought I had lost them forever.

I had forgotten that a lot of music sharing used to happen through emails.

Some of those recordings were made in Audacity, and later on, I moved to Logic Pro 9. There were many of my own ideas, but also a few collaborations and jam sessions with friends.

Another idea from 2011. This is a collab with a friend. As far as I remember he made a beat by messing with my bass and adding drums. I added guitars.

I finally got my new Zoom R4 — this thing’s an awesome pocket-sized music studio. It has even a built in mic!
Constraints are powerful in creativity. Inspired by Oulipo and their love of constraints, mine is simple: everything has to be recorded and mixed on the Zoom R4.
