all of my wrongs?
being proud of my birth 
this path is my own 
I’ll have no regrets 
if I chose this moment 
am i responsible 
for all the actions I took?
what if i commit a crime 
doing 25 to life?
pages of calendar 
will they still fly?
might still fight 
with a spirit of a night
or an alchemist transforming 
dark into light

future is bleak 
sixth extinction on the way 
nature’s defeat
machines taking over 
nuclear spillover
human ignorance 
is the biggest disease 
breakthrough in science 
fading hope
resources depleted 
sustainability is a joke 
polluted air 
soon most’ll choke 
survival on mars 
not for the broke

should I still keep going?
making the time 
focus on the seconds 
collecting minutes
put in the hours 
master the craft
only few years
10000 hours 
I’m at the peak 
get recognition 
that I most need 
platform I seek 
I’ll not sleep 
till my message’ll reach 
depths of the streets

so time riddle me this
eternal hell? 
or eternal heaven? 
do you run in circles?
beginning-less chakra 
is rebirth real?
why no one can tell? 
the river keeps flowing 
strange continuum
is there a true self 
in this state of flux?
why is the change 
the only constant? 
is it all an illusion?
what’s the meaning?

disenchanted by that energy 
I abandoned the Oracle 
and continued my quest 
pack of hungry ghosts followed me
they chased me 
under the full moon  
closer to dawn 
I shook them off 
as the compass deviated
I realised a shift 
in my consciousness
I understood the futility 
of the outward exploration 
my metaphysical questioning
misguided attempts 
to find the truth 
in an external source 
so letting go of the mindset 
pondering myriads 
of worldly perspectives 
I started looking inwards 
for the answers
