Old Ideas from Old Email


To my surprise, I found some of my old music ideas in my old email account. I thought I had lost them forever.

I had forgotten that a lot of music sharing used to happen through emails.

Some of those recordings were made in Audacity, and later on, I moved to Logic Pro 9. There were many of my own ideas, but also a few collaborations and jam sessions with friends.

Another idea from 2011. This is a collab with a friend. As far as I remember he made a beat by messing with my bass and adding drums. I added guitars.

I finally got my new Zoom R4 — this thing’s an awesome pocket-sized music studio. It has even a built in mic!
Constraints are powerful in creativity. Inspired by Oulipo and their love of constraints, mine is simple: everything has to be recorded and mixed on the Zoom R4.
