Passionate about music and night life, Marcio Techjun is a key person in the consolidation of the house and techno music scene in Sao Paulo. With 24 years of career he is the founder and resident DJ of Mothership one of the coolest parties in town which has been going on for 17! years on Saturday nights at the renowned D-Edge Club. A party that has become a reference when it comes to quality underground music.

Mothership Party has hosted many influential artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Dixon, Luciano, Kevin Sanderson, Ben Block, Marcel Dettman, Seth Troxler, Koze, Agoria and many others whom he had the pleasure of sharing the DJ booth with.

He performed at the Skol Beats Festival in 2006 alongside Sven Vath, Loco Dice and Tiga to an audience of 50.000 people where he played on a stage hosted by the famous London based club The End. In 2012 Marcio Techjun performed at the very first edition of Lollapalooza Festival in Brazil to an audience of 70.000 people.

In the recent years he had gigs in clubs and parties like Trust Bar in Berlin, Off Sonar and Macarena Club in Barcelona, Forward in San Francisco, D-Edge & Warung Party Off WMC in Miami, Playtime in London, Babyboa in Geneve, Telephone Rose in Annecy, Pinar de Rocha After + Arte in Buenos Aires and La Feria Club in Santiago.
 
His first track was released in 2006 by Colcci Records and last year he participated in a remix contest for Moby on Beatport and was among the 10 finalists and in the same year he remixed a track for the Slovenian producer Joe Krosher which was released on Cabana Music.
