Shadow Child lands his sparkling new single Friday featuring the stunning vocals of the fast rising Takura.

Singer / songwriter Takura is no stranger to UK ears having collaborated with massive names such as Chase & Status, Rhianna, Plan B, Sub Focus, Example, Jack Beats and Kano. On Friday Takura delivers a huge feel-good, crossover chorus hook that complements Shadow Child’s on point, driving, deep house beats perfectly.

With Shadow Child’s and label-partner Kry Wolf, their Food Music label has grown organically as a route to release for own material and like-minded production souls. This year has so far seen critically acclaimed releases from artists Kry Wolf, Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo, Makes No Sense to the soon coming Motez, with a stack of exciting new artists & tracks lined up for the next 12 months.

Friday will be the lead track from the forthcoming Shadow Child Collected album, released simultaneously also via NewState Music / Food Music that chronicles the productions, remixes and collaborations of Shadow Child so far and features further exclusive new Shadow Child singles alongside unreleased remixes.
