The past 4 years have nothing short of the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful. Steyoyoke thanks you, our old and new fans, for the substructure of love and support upon which this label is built. We bring you ultramodern remixes of our liveliest tracks from 2015 on the latest EP, Steyoyoke Anniversary Vol. 04, to celebrate the new year, including remixes by: Philipp Kempnich, Cid Inc, Oliver Schories, MIDAS 104, and Jonas Saalbach.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

Thank you to all our long-time fans that have loved us from the start, and to our new fans who we welcome with open arms into our family. After all the Smoke & Ashes that was launched in our BeenTouched series, Pete returns to Sincopat now in the main and front line. Trying Not To the almighty Gabriel Ananda on remix duties.

Pete continues exploring the sound and giving emotion to his music today in form of three new tracks full of soul and heart. Trying Not To is a tight huge track that will burn the most demanding places. Master Gabriel Ananda presents an exquisite version rich in details and getting a fantastic balance between deep and tech. We knew he is a quality stamp. 

Graphium follows the futuristic and tasteful line of Electronic Music. Sinister and dark voices for a devastating effect on the dancefloor. Me My Molly shows Pete’s more elegant stuff. He goes a bit deeper with sensual melodies but for sure also a great pick of the night. But, as Pete says, let the music speak by itself.

The next instalment on Afterlife comes from Vaal with remixes by Locked Groove and Baikal. ’Wander To Hell’ is a three track EP, with three versions of the same track that each encapsulate the spirit of Afterlife in their own individual way.

Heralding from a rock n’roll and jazz background Vaal is unperturbed by the strict rules that define & guard electronic music. ‘Wander To Hell’ is stripped back and gentle, highlighting the emotive side of the label. The combination of alluring vocals and beautiful reverberating chords along with the ebb and flow of distortion makes it a composition that grips the listener from start to finish.
Belgian talent Locked Groove seeks the dancefloor with his remix. He brings back a little familiarity, the vocal remains, but is now present amongst an assortment of synths and percussion, pushing through to darker, heavier depths.
Baikal makes multi layered electronic music simultaneously for the heart, mind and feet. His version of ‘Wander To Hell’ is truly spellbinding, featuring a hypnotic groove that glides seamlessly through a continuum of time and space.

‘Glutes’ is peak-time material without being overly fast or chaotic, the energy instead coming from the transportive arrangement and emotive melodic content. The same can be said for Bäumel’s ‘Surge’ on Kompakt, an anthem in the sets of Tale Of Us last year which led to this release.

The title track rises and falls, surging with wide-sweeping synth notes and a steady rhythm to anchor the waves. An infectious refrain pulls you further in and, right on cue, the kick drum continues to beat the sweet spot. ‘Engage’ is filled with similarly subtle details, uplifting arpeggios and atmospheric reverb. Half-way through the melody bursts into life, shining brightly through the haze and creating one of those moments of release that make the Afterlife sound work so well on a dancefloor.

Born as a label, built as a party, grown as a collective and cured as an artist. Depaart’s story is not common. The production duo present three awesome original tracks on Sincopat with a great welcome back: a mind-blowing remix by the forward-thinking disco talent, Lauer.
Koi starts the fire with a super organic synth that is well and truly alive. It stands out in an unpredictable way asking to be the main character of the track. On the remix, the German talent of Lauer gives his special touch by adding more layers and different melodies into a piece of electronic music that counts with two remarkable percussion build-ups. Do it like you do is a fantastic and magical journey through electronic music. Even though it’s hard to tell the style, the common factor is smoothness and the voice of Tom Trago, who participated in this track during a crazy studio session in Madrid with the guys. For the Techno edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we've dug deep into the archives and pulled out the finest tracks that define the darker side of Yoshitoshi's history. This includes remastered versions of classic tracks like Dish Out Bum's 'Gak Trak' Chiapet's 'Tick Tock,' 2 Smokin' Barrels' 'Basses Loaded,' and Timeline's 'Clockwork Orange,' as well as modern cuts like Victor Ruiz's 'Rollercoaster,' ANNA's 'Momentum,' Nicole Moudaber's seminal remix of Alcatraz's 'Give Me Luv', and Loco & Jam and Frankyeffe's 'Splitting Minds.'
