I love to play guitar and making music. Doesn't matter how good you are. Music is a beautiful expression of yourself, its a piece of art, emotions and it brings people together. Anyway my father drove my mother nuts in the seventies with jimi songs on a phonograph record while she was pregnant with me. Some of jimis sound and music stuck with me after i was born and i like it since then. Im inspired by a lot of guitarists/musicians...hard to name em all right here. Beside Jimi i like guitarplayers like Johny Lee Hooker, Eric Clapton, SRV, Walter Trout, Jeff Healey, Mark Knophler, Jimmy Page, Guthrie Govan, Alex Hutchings, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, BB King, Sam Cooke, Muddy Waters, Toni Abasi, Matt Scofield, Robben Ford, Joe Walsh, Philip Sayce, Kurt Cobain, Brian May, Jeffrey Lee Pierce, Joe Bonamassa, KWS, Lenny Kravitz, John Frusciante, David Gilmour etc...Most of all i like to play the blues, blues rock, funk, psychedelic rock, and rock. Hopefully you guys like it...

I am truly greatful for this platform. That we get to share our music and absorb the endless talent and get inspiration from that is really amazing.

I love engaging with other artists so please feel free to hit me up. Once you are human (and didn't type your music on ChatGPT) I'm up for listening to your stuff and giving you good feedback with my taste set aside. I think that's important and very rewarding if you approach reciprocating your engagement with other artists by leaving your taste aside for the listen. Review the human. Remember they are exactly the same as you, grinding it to make art so I believe that's the most inspiring way to approach this place.

Unless you are an already established artist you will get nowhere on SoudCloud without engagement. It takes a bit of learning to sift through the AI bullshit and sidestep the shitty sales bots but find the humans, listen to their creations and engage... And you are getting the same back. Its that simple. You have the best critics you could possibly ask for... Your fellow musicians! Your peers. Opinions that can really matter.

I have had untold inspiration delving into other styles I would have dismissed and I have absolutely had huge amounts of that abundance of angles absorbed in my own music. It almost makes me want to try all the styles I listen to instead of saying... I hate drum and bass... Give it a shot. Every style has its merit and genius behind that creation.

After poking different ways this is now how I approach a session. Listen, Like(Unless it's tripe AI or something I hate - very little gets the hate label for me now) Then create a playlist for that artist and begin building a list of songs you've listened to / liked by them and that's a permanent reference for you for them. Its easier to remember them this way and keeps things organized for you when keeping track of what material you've covered by them. This list can also be reposted making your like more valuable to all. I'll tend to alternate between new and old tracks. Its a good way of gauging evolution of artists and weeding out some messers. I also like reactivating the feelings of old tracks in the artists by sharing the first upload and highlighting how long it's been there. Gives you a good gauge of dedication and believe level etc... This way you definitely listen to less artists but the quality of your interactions is arguably improved because of the deeper digs so I think it's more rewarding artistically and less robotic then just delivering a multitude of likes...
At the beginning my goal was... get people to me to spread myself. Now priority one is absorb as much of your creativity as possible... The recipeocatoon just happens itself then... So you get upgraded as a musician better because your in study mode and your own music grows maybe more organically both in skill and presentation...

My own tunes are mainly about existence and I aim for them to be an honest reflection of what I've discovered and what's important to me now..I hope you enjoy them. Its always a blast making them 🔆
