According to Scriabin's biographer, Faubion Bowers, “The Sixth Sonata is a netherstar. Its dark and evil aspect embraces horror, terror, and the omnipresent Unknown. ‘Only my music expresses the inexpressible,’ Scriabin boasted, and called the Sixth’s sweet and harsh harmonies, “nightmarish… fuliginous… murky… dark and hidden… unclean… mischievous.’ When he played excerpts for friends, he would stare off in the distance away from the piano, as if watching effluvium rise from the floor and walls around him. He seemed frightened and sometimes shuddered.”

It is one of a few pieces Scriabin never played in public, because he felt it was "nightmarish, murky, unclean and mischievous". He often started shuddering after playing a few measures for other people.

Alexander Skrjabin -  Sonata No.6

Think, Sync, Sink is a piece for cello, piano and EEG, in which brain imaging and sound production are integrated through OpenVibe and Ableton, with a custom Max MSP patch. The timbral qualities of both piano and cello sounds are modulated by mapping 24 brain signals recorded from different regions of the brain. Additional live electronic effects are triggered during the performance, when the synchrony(alpha and attention) of performers’ brain signals reach a certain amount.

This Psalm is a cry, a call out for help, for being heard by God.
It is often described as a canticle of gradual ascent (Shir Hama’a lot). This ascent could be understood as a rise from the abyss to redemption.
I believe this Psalm could resonate with many, even non-believers, as it shows a universal and tragic part of human life and human nature. That is the experience of grief, depression, abuse, solitude or simply being in a place so dark that leads to despair.
But it also sends a message of light, optimism, and hope, through the conviction that one will be heard.
Even inf it comes from the Hebrew tradition it shows universal values that can be embraced by many cultures and promote tolerance and acceptance. In fact, this psalm forms a regular part of Jewish, Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican and other Protestant liturgies.
In this sense, during the piece the text follows a chronological use and adaptation throughout the Judaism and the different versions of Christianism: Latin: 530, Rule of Saint Benedict; German: Martin Luther Hymns, 1524, al and eventually the English: King James Version from 1610
